To whom it may concern,

We at the water quality association are dedicated to discussing possible solution to water pollution
with representatives of the state. We have several solutions to problems with pollution in local areas, and a great
track record with states that we have assisted in the past. Our independent research has deciphered that storm
water runoff and runoff from local farms has caused the majority of pollution in the area. We have a few
requests about action to take to fix the water quality of important estuaries in the piedmont and coastal area.

Firstly what operations do you currently have in place for the state of the water? Formatted: Space After: 0 pt, Line spacing: single

difficult task to implement immediately but we want to discuss how important it is to approach this quickly as if
the EPA’s federal protection of wetlands is abolished as President hopes to, it can serve as a regulating force for
the wetlands
Also the threat of pesticides and solids in the storm water runoff poses a large risk to the water quality of the
local watersheds. As I’m sure you know North Carolina is quite humid and sees a large amount of rain. The
local farms and homes around important wetlands are using chemicals in their crops and lawns that are causing
serious imbalances in the local ecosystems. We ask that you provide a plan to work towards cleaning the water
and a sustainable approach for the future. As I’m sure you understand, the Wetlands are an important part of
North Carolinas ecosystem and the protection of them is a top priority of yours. We would like to work with
you to achieve our common goal.

Thank you for taking the time to hear our opinions and we hope you will act upon our requests and work with
us in the future should the problem of water quality come up again
