LSAD BIOGRAPHY......

 Born in Biella, Piemonte in 1964.

 He graduated from Milan Polytechnic University in 1996.

 He came to Egypt to meet other designers and share


his vision with them and initiate practice as an
• Architect
• Interior Designer and
• Product Designer.

LSAD What makes his design style stand out from the crowd?

He believes in architecture having the power to give spaces soul.

Architecture can elevate the spirit of a place.

His design style is very clean and clear.

He love empty spaces and work with fewer materials, such as
• concrete
• wood
• iron
• stone

He tends to focus on a natural finish where everything is integrated with


natural light.”

His design vision revolves around simplicity.

He is a fan of minimalism

His main goal of designing is “achieving equilibrium”.

He tries to do this by using natural materials such as wood and stone.

large adaptable open space
directly under single roof.

Spacious and bright loft .

Functional and inviting as founded


on respect for space, natural light.

Sheer glass and steel create


continuous, flowing zones, which
contribute to sectioning the house
into different areas.

Darker hues – tobacco, brown and


black – break the full white solutions
used for the walls, beams and
railings.

On the ground floor are the living room and the open kitchen, only partially separated
from the living room via a low and thin steel partition.
Darker hues – tobacco, brown and black – plays a contrast with whites.

columns, ceilings….

The window frames are stark black and


are without shutters that flow maximum
natural light.

Joining the ground floor with the first floor, the thin staircase is
a bright, geometric steel structure.

Bedroom solely having natural light, from slender skylights in roof.

Steel poles and soft fabrics form a stylized canopy for the bed, a cozy and confined bright space.
White walls add airiness to the ambience.

Slender steel poles separating the bedroom and the balcony, with ambience white walls.

Anchored to a central pivot, the walls serve to transform, allowing for a flexible alteration of
spaces in which doors can become walls upon which to hang paintings, photographs so on…..

On the first floor, the bathroom,


the home’s most intimate venue, is
separated from bedroom solely via
glass walls.

Two large parallel cubes serve as


functional closets by filling and
sectioning living spaces.
