THERE IS A SOLE
IN HANDMADE
THINGS!

DESIGNER - D.PATSKUN
Assembly:
Sew head to the body previously securing it with pins. When we have
small hole left, stuff the area between head and body tight enough, so
our head don't hang out. Then sew details to the end.
Hide yarn tail inside the detail.

Sew arms on the sides of the body previously securing them with pins.
Then sew wig and topknot to the head.
Finish face. You can embroider eyes or sew beads.
Embroider nose by making 3-4 st with main color yarn.
You can also make a blush on cheeks if you wish. Or you can sew
crochet one: 6 sc in MR, sl st in the end.

Well, our doll

is almost ready!
The main thing is to
collect all your
patience, concentrate
on the process of
sewing all the details
together and add your
imagination to
achieve the best
results! I’m sure they
will exceed all your
expectations.
KNIT BLOUSE:
Our blouse has 2 parts: front and back. We will knit back apart in the
beginning, so it is easy to put it on the doll.
Knit the sample stockinette stitch from your yarn: 10 rows x 10 st. Measure
the sample. I've got 3 cm/1,18 in width and 2,5 cm/0,98 in length.

Then take measurements from the doll.

Measure girth of the largest part of the body. I've got 18 cm/7,08 in. And
length of the blouse, I have 6 cm/2,36 in
We will knit stockinette stitch 2 rectangular details: front and back.
Let's find out how many stitches need to be casted on for one detail.
For this 10 st of the sample x 9 cm (half of body girth) and devide by 3
cm (width of the sample). I've got 30 st.

Then we'll find out how many rows we'll need to knit.
For this 10 rows of the sample x 6 cm (length of the blouse) and
devide by 2,5 cm (length of the sample). I've got 24 rows.

Thus we need to cast on 30 st and knit 24 rows.

First and last 4 rows knit Rib 1:1 (1 knit, 1 purl).
Knit back of the blouse the same way only first 10 stitches knit apart.
Then join and continue to knit.

Sew front and back together leaving hole for the head and arms.
In order to make sleeves, crochet sleeves stitches around:
R1: ch 3, 2 dc in each stitch, slip st in the end to join.
R2: ch 3, 1 dc in each stitch of previous round, sl st to join.
TUTU SKIRT:
We will need tulle and elastic for tutu skirt.
Measure doll's waist circumference and cut the elastic of this length.
Then measure length from the waist line to the desired length of the
skirt and multiply it by 2.
We'll find out length of the tulle stripes. Width of the stripe is 3 cm/ 1,18
in.
Cut needed quantity of stripes and attach to the elastic one by one. Do
it on the doll till you fill all elastic to the end.
HOODED CARDIGAN:
ABBREVIATION:
K - knit stitch
P - purl stitch
YO - yarn over
sl1k – slip 1 knitwise

First knit the sample from your yarn and measture it. I've got 4 cm/1,57
in width and 3 cm/1,18 in length.
Measure doll's neck girth. I have 12 cm/4,72 in. And also the length of
raglan line - 3 cm/1,18 in in my case.
Now we'll make raglan pattern. In order to find out quantity of stitches
in 12 cm/4,72 in: multiply 10 by 12/4,72 (neck girth) and devide by
3/1,18 (sample width). I've got 30 stitches.
Then calculate how many raglan rows need to be knitted. 10 sample
rows multiply by 3 cm/1,18 in (raglan length) and devide by 3 cm/1,18
(sample length). I've got 10 rows.
30-4 (raglan st) = 26.
Then we take 3 st for each sleeve, 26-6=20
Remaining 20 st devide in half for front and back.
We get 10 stitches.
As our cardigan will be knitted apart, 10 st /2 = 5 st for two front parts.
Schematically it looks like this:
Start to knit.
Cast on 30 stitches + 2 edge st.

R1: sl1k, K5,  P1 (raglan st),  K3, P1, K10,  P1,  K3, P1, K5, always purl last
R2: Purl all knit st of previous row, 4 purl (raglan) st – Knit.
R3: sl1k, K5, yo, P1 (raglan st), yo, K3, yo, P1, yo, K10, yo, P1, yo, K3, yo,
P1, yo, K5, purl last.
R4: Purl all knit st of previous row, 4 purl (raglan) st – Knit.
R5-10: alternate similarly to  R3-4.
Continue to knit stockinette stitch 2 parts of the front and back of the
cardigan till needed length. Slide sleeves stitches off the needles and
place them on the thread.
Finish knitting front and back of the cardigan 4 rows Rib 1:1 (K1, P1).

Then continue to knit sleeves. I knit them on double pointed sock

needles in order not to sew then. Knit till needled length. Finish knitting
with 4 rows Rib 1:1 as well.
Then knit borders to front parts. One border (left) knit 4 rows
stockinette stitch for sewing buttons. Make holes for buttons on the
right part of front.

Measure girth of doll's head front for hood. I've got 21 cm/8,27 in. That
means 10 st of the sample multiply by 21 cm (head girth) and devide by
4 cm (sample width). I've got around 52 stitches.
Cast on 52 st and knit 30 rows stockinette stitch. First 4 rows knit Rib
1:1.
Sew ready hood as shown on the picture and then sew it to the
cardigan.
Pants:
Print and cut out pants' pattern (attached in the end of the pattern).
Fold fabric in half, so the bend line on the paper pattern matches bend
line of fabric. Pin the pattern to fabric and mark it with pencil around.
Draw allowance line beside in the distance 0,5 cm/ 0,2 in from the
pattern line on the sides and 1,5 cm/0,6 in on top and bottom of the
pants. Cut out 2 details. Hsndle top and bottom of the pants. Make 2
tucks on each detail. Fold two details together and sew sides. Unfold
and sew in the middle. Turn out.
