INSTRUCTIONS FOR FC I PROJECT

As per the guidelines of University of Mumbai, the pattern of FC-I will be 75:25. In accordance
with the assessment of 25 marks as an internal examination is to be adopted. Out of 25 marks 5
marks will be given for attendance and 20 marks for project work (10 marks project hard copy,
5 marks for presentation, 5 marks for viva voce).
1. Project topics for division are as follows :
 Division A- Substance of Abuse- impact on youth and challenges for future
 Division B- HIV-AIDS- awareness, prevention, treatment and services
 Division C- Problems of Elderly- causes , implications and response
 Division D- Issue of Child Labour- Magnitude , causes, effects and response
 Division E- Child Abuse- effects and ways to prevent
 Division F- Trafficking of Women-Causes, effects and response
 Division G- Group Conflicts- concept of disparity- causes, implication and ways to
prevent
2. Project must be handwritten on one side of page, on the ruled A4 sized papers.
3. Content page must be filled and should have appropriate numbering as per chapter/topic.
4. Project must be written in 15-20 pages with page numbers and references in the end.
5. Project must be submitted after fixing three stepper pins at left side of page which is sealed
with strip of paper properly pasted to hide pins and ensuring proper binding. No spiral bound
and any other form of binding is allowed.
6. Front page of the project report must be as per the format given and filled in properly with
topic, name, roll number and signature of the student.
7. Topics are available in 6th Unit – OLD Syllabus FC-I Text Book. However, students can use
any other sources available to them like books, journals, internet etc.
8. No queries will be entertained outside the classroom. Completed Project Reports must be
submitted in the Class Rooms ONLY.
9. Those who cannot submit project reports on or before 22nd October 2016 can submit their
projects after the Semester End Examination, during FC-I Lectures, ONLY.
10. Submission will be strictly as per following schedule till 21nd October 2016:
