Detailed Lesson Plan in English 7

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson the learners should be able to:
1. Construct declarative, interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory sentences out of
the given non-prose materials such as pictures, charts, tables, etc.;
2. Classify sentences according to their function;
3. Show active participation and cooperation in a group activity.

II. Subject Matter


Topic: Different Types of Sentences
Reference: English 7 Learning Package / Grammar and composition by Prentice Hall
Material: Visual Aids (Powerpoint Pres.; pictures; charts)
Competency: EN7SS-f-1.2: Transcode orally and in writing the information presented in
diagrams, pictures, charts, graphs, etc.

Motivation
Group Activity:

Sentences should be based on the
meaning conveyed by the pictures and
should be presented orally. The sentence
to be presented shall have a proper facial
expression and correct intonation. The
first group to recite will be given a badge
that symbolizes their score. The group
with the highest number of badges will
be the winner.

groups don’t you worry there are a lot of
activities that we are going to do today.
