Brief Accomplishments and Other related Activities

Bebot of MGB, RD Alex of EMB, my co-employees of
the Regional Office… Good morning to everyone of
us. I would like to give brief updates on the
accomplishment and other related activities
performed or attended by the Enforcement Division.
Briefly, in the recently issued DAO No. 2019-01 the
function of the ED is to oversee law enforcement
activities in forestlands, PAs, Coastal Areas &
Other reservations and to monitor the
implementation of all ENR laws, rules & regulations
conduct surveillance of potential violators of
government regulatory requirements. In the WFP
the ED is monitoring implementation of PAPs by our
field offices, the PENROs and the CENROs. Let me
emphasized that our office is governed by laws,
policies, rules and regulations.

For the 1st Quarter, this year, the following had

conducted/monitored:
 Conducted and submitted reports with MOVs
on Surveillance on illegal logging activities in
the province of Sarangani; consultation
meeting with stakeholders in Bgy. Bukay
Pait, Tantangan
 Consolidated and submitted to DENR CO
monthly and quarterly reports of Wildlife
Traffic Monitoring Units, Forest Fire
Disturbance of NGP Plantations and Grass
fires in Cotabato province; Implementation of
LAWIN Forest Biodiversity Protection System
with observed THREATS and actions taken
thereof
  Created 2 Monitoring Composite Teams and
had conducted and submitted reports in
compliance with the PPAs in our WPP (Thank
you ED Staff led by Juris Doctor Alamina
Manalao for your diligent works)

Attended/represented the RED on several

Meetings (7) and Workshops/Trainings/Seminars
to mention 2 are as follows:

 NFSMS in Davao City attended by PENRO and

CENRO or their representatives last 21
March 2019

To end my updates, ARD Boths and the
whole staff of ED would like to welcome all the
newly appointed personnel to ED namely: Joffrey
Laraya SI II, Mae Ann Adam DMO II, Saida Diamla SI
II and Moneth Saruang EMS I…thank you very much
to all the members of the Promotion and Selection
Board led by ARD Datu Tungko and Maam AO
Meriam and finally to RED Nilo sa kanyang hangarin
upang ma bit lang ang deadline bago pumasok ang
Election Ban on March 29, 2019.
