INTRODUCTION & NECESSITY :-


The New National Highway No 561 Starts from Beed
has been newly named as Beed-Ashti-Kada-Nagar .
The Stretch of the road from Jamkhed-Kada to Beed
dist. border is in very bad condition. There are several pot holes and
patches and uneven side berms in the stretch of Chainage from 60/00
to 100/00 causing inconvenience to the traffic and the road users. In
order to improve the condition of the road the Estimate is framed in
accordance to the availability of Funds.

in the Estt is wef 16/12/2018.

SPECIFICATIONS :- The work shall be executed as per the Standard Specification laid in
the MORT & H and with the time to time directives of Engineer in
Charge.

Following officers were present during site inspection :

The road is newly declared as NH561 starting from to


Beed- Patoda-Jamkhed- Ashti to Beed Dist. border. It is an important
road which connects several districts like Beed ,Ahmednagar etc.
and talukas like Beed , Patoda , Jamkhed , Ashti and Ahemadnagar etc.
Since the road is now upgraded to National Highway, the road
surface condition is bad and requires renewal in some of the stretches as
there are several pot holes and sunken portion, which are causing inconvenience
to road users. The stretches which need to be renewal are KM 60/00 to 100/00
(Jamkhed Ashti to Beed Dist. Border )
The above mentioned stretches are included in renewal
programme for the year 2018-2019. As instructed by SE, NH Circle, Aurangabad
and actual inspection of site, following provisions should be made to renewal
damaged stretches.
a) Bituminous macadam (BM) of VG-40 for rectification of patches in
sunken portions.
b) Dense bituminous macadam (DBM) of VG-40.
c) Bituminous concrete (BC) of VG-40 for surfacing.
d) Side shoulders by filling murum and providing information / cautionery sign boards.
