General: <12 point, Times New Roman, Bold>

Use General in each chapter under 1.1, 2.1, 3.1 …..etc. In this section author
should highlight the overview of this particular chapter. The Chapter title and their sub
heading details are presented in Table: 1.1. Each chapter should be start from a new page.

1.2. Guideline <12 point, Times New Roman, Bold>

Authors are guided to first write the manuscript in their own format. After completion
just copy the text and paste by Unformatted Unicode Text. In MS Word 2013 version,
Home > Paste > Paste special > Unformatted Unicode Text.

1.3. Page setup <12 point, Times New Roman, Bold>

Set the page as stated below before to start the thesis paper.

1.3.1. Set page before writing <12 point, Times New Roman, Bold>
Set page as A4, Top, Bottom and left margin should be 1” and Right side
margin 1.3” for hard binding. Don’t use page border. Use footer for page
number. Page number should be Times New Roman, 12 point, Normal font
i.e. no BOLD or ITALIC or UNDERLINE.

1.3.1.1. Text style <12 point, Times New Roman, Bold and Italic>
Use the font style as stated in Table 1.1 with line spacing 1.5. Always use
TAB before the paragraph. Use “Add space after paragraph” from paragraph
menu. Use enter between every sub heading.

1.4. Figures, Graphs and Tables setup <12 point, Times New Roman, Bold>
Figures, graphs and tables should be inside the margins of page. Figure
caption is placed below the figures and written as Fig. 1 [Note: use dot (.) after
Fig and should be Bold]. Similarly, Table caption is placed above the Tables and
written as Table: 1 [Note: use colon (:) after Table]. Do not use to put figure
inside the border. Figures, Graph and Tables captions are flush center and labels
should be legible, 12 point. Fig. 1 is used for referring figure in the text body.
Similarly, Tables and Graphs are used for referring table and graph in the text
body. Figures should be set as per chapter number. Figure and Table title should
be clearly specify the detail of figure and table. First figure of Chapter 1 starts
from Fig. 1.1, Fig. 1.2 etc. For Chapter 2 is Fig. 2.1, Fig. 2.2 etc. The first number
denote chapter number and second number denote figure number of that particular

2
chapter. The same order must be follow on Table number also. First table of
Chapter 1 starts from Table: 1.1, Table: 1.2 etc. For Chapter 2 is Table: 2.1,
Table: 2.2 etc. The figure should be set as “INLINE WITH TEXT”. For detail,
refer the Fig. 1.1. Author may insert multiple figure side by side by using single
of double space bar between the figures.

1.5. Equations <12 point, Times New Roman, Bold>

Equations should be insert by Insert > Equation. The equation style must
be follow as stated in the Table: 1.1. The example of an equation is stated under
Eq. 1.1-1.3

The continuity equation is such an example:

𝜕𝜌 𝜕
+ 𝜕𝑥 (𝜌𝑈𝑗 ) = 0 (1.1)
𝜕𝑡 𝑗

Moreover, the momentum equation will be

𝜕𝜌𝑈𝑖 𝜕 𝜕𝑝′ 𝜕 𝜕𝑈 𝜕𝑈
+ 𝜕𝑥 (𝜌𝑈𝑖 𝑈𝑗 ) = − 𝜕𝑥 + 𝜕𝑥 [𝜇𝑒𝑓𝑓 (𝜕𝑥 𝑖 + 𝜕𝑥 𝑖 )] + 𝑆𝑀 (1.2)
𝜕𝑡 𝑗 𝑖 𝑗 𝑗 𝐼

2 2 𝜕𝑈𝑘
𝑝 + 𝜌𝑘 + 𝜇𝑒𝑓𝑓 (1.3)
3 3 𝜕𝑘

2.1. General: <12 point, Times New Roman, Bold>

Use General as stated in section 1.1.

2.2. History of Work <12 point, Times New Roman, Bold>

Insert observation from past study in your own language at list 10 to 12
lines in same format as stated in Table: 1.1 in Body Text section. Insert study as
per chronological order of publication. Follow the format of writing some History
of Works.

Zhou et al. (2003) studied the action of wind, tall buildings which oscillate
in across wind, and torsional directions. Nine building cross sections were tested
on an ultra-sensitive force balance.

Kwon et al. (2005) served as an important first step in establishing an on-

line experimental database for use in the preliminary design of tall buildings
subjected to wind loads which was achieved by using a combination of several
web-based programming tools and popular software.

Amin and Ahuja (2014) investigated the effects of wind forces and
responses on rectangular tall building by considering a wind tunnel tests having a
section of 8.2 m length with cross-sectional dimensions of 1.2 m (width) and 0.85
m (height) but different side ratios of 1, 1.56, 2.25, 3.06 and 4.

Use General as stated in section 1.1.

3.2. Results <12 point, Times New Roman, Bold>

The author should continue the results of the research from this section.
Nevertheless, must follow the detail as stated in Table: 1.1.

4.1. General: <12 point, Times New Roman, Bold>

Use General as stated in section 1.1. Conclusion section is mandatory and

contains advantages, disadvantages, review the main part of research paper and use of
research work. If author want to acknowledge someone, then acknowledgement section
should include in research paper after conclusion.

4.2. Conclusions <12 point, Times New Roman, Bold>

a) Start conclusion by using bullets.
