Teaming Agreement Template

Coalition formation for the CSSP2 strategic grant application

1. It is agreed that the following organizations to apply in coalition for the call for
concept note that Civil Society Support Programme Phase2 (CSSP2) advertises for
Call for Concept note for Strategic Grants.

o Name of Lead applicants:United Science and Children’s Association

o Names of co-applicants:

1) Vision For Integrated Development Association (VIDA)

2) Mesobe Bego Adragot Merja Geber Senaye Deregit

3) Finote Tehadeso Leakal Gudatgna Setoch Mahiber

4) Hope For The Blind and handicapped rehabilitating Association

2. Each coalition/group members understands that they are applying to be a grantee under
the CSSP2 Programme. Each group member applicant understands that, if the group
application is funded, it will be, and assume the legal responsibilities of, a grantee.

3. (United Science and Children’s Association) will serve as the lead applicant. As the lead
applicant, (United Science and Children’s Association) will apply for the grant on behalf of
the group and will serve as an agent for the group in the event if a grant is awarded. If
the application becomes successful, (United Science and Children’s Association),as the
agent, understands that it is responsible for the receipt and distribution of all grant funds;
for ensuring that the project is carried out by the group in accordance with CSSP2
requirements

4. If the application is successful, each co-applicant agrees to use the funds it will receive
from the lead applicant under the Grant agreement in accordance with all CSSP2
requirements that apply to the grant, including any restrictions on the use of CSSP2
funds set forth in the British Council/CSSP2 Grant Contract Template1.

5. Each group applicant agrees to participate in the preparation of grant application that is
set forth in this group(coalition) application for the CSSP2 Strategic Grant Application
competition and conduct activities and carry out responsibilities as may be identified in
that application.

6. Joint Responsibilities of lead and co-applicants

CSSP2 Grant Contract Template is available on the call for concept note at British Council/CSSP2
website.
Each member of the group agrees to the following joint responsibilities

 Each member of the group will appoint a key contact person for the CSSP2
grant.
 These key contacts will maintain frequent communication to facilitate cooperation
under this teaming agreement.
 These key contacts will work together with an agreed action plan for the
preparation grant applications for CSSP2 call for granting.
