Dedication

First and foremost, I would like to thank my parents, Godofredo and Sonia Real, for

providing me with the opportunity to engage in this project. Without their support I may not have

found myself at Ilocos Sur Community College, nor had the courage to engage in this task and

see it through. They are well aware how this thesis and my studies throughout my four years at

Ilocos Sur Community College have formulated my outlook, determination, motivation and

perspective that will sculpt my future. Through them, my husband my sister and brother

emotional support, intellectual stimulation and many hours of identity-forming conversation, I

am inspired to pursue an unconventional dream in which I truly believe. So, thank you to my

Papang, Mamang, Ate, Kuya, to my husband and my children for being supportive family one

could hope for.

Importantly, I would like to thank my thesis advisor, -------- for the guidance, advice and hours

of struggling through this challenging process. To all my teachers who’ve been there to teach,

motivate at sculpt me not only me but all of us as a student to dream and to make our dreams
