Conclusion:
The coupling is satisfactory regarding torsional vibrations for normal operating condition.
During misfiring, the coupling could be overheated at speeds above 1325 rpm.

The power loss in the damper is within the given allowed limits.
The vibratory stress in the crankshaft at 1406 rpm is 43,9 N/mm².

The gearing could be over loaded at speeds above 1150 rpm. The maximum vibratory
torque (synthesis of all engine and propeller orders) in the gears is 3225 Nm at 1406 rpm.

Allowable values for these loadings were not available at the moment that this report was
made. The acceptability of these values has to confirmed by the gearbox manufacturer. The
person who forwards this calculation to the classification society is responsible for collecting
this confirmation.

All other stress values in the shafts and gears so far the data had been available remain
within the limits.
