SCHOOL MESSENGER

Seminole County Public Schools is asking that all teachers use the School Messenger
communication system if you want to broadcast voice, text, email or social media messages to
the families associated with your class. They have asked that you no longer use outside
messaging systems to communicate with your student’s families such as REMIND, CLASS DOJO
(the message part), etc. You are even asked to use School Messenger over using the message
feature in SKYWARD.
The good news is that SCPS has placed a great School Messenger PD page in the PORTAL with
all kinds of resources to learn how to use the program. It can be found under Applications- PD
Resources (https://insider.scps.k12.fl.us/communications/school-messenger/).

Here is how you can get started.

1. Start by making an account.

2. Visit the following Web page

3. Click the SIGN UP link at the

bottom of the screen.

4. You will enter your SCPS e-

mail address and then pick
your own password.

5. Try your
____@scps.k12.fl.us e-mail
first.

6. If that doesn’t work, try your

____@myscps.us e-mail.

7. Then, click the blue SIGN UP

button.
