Theme: “Kumain ng Wasto at Maging Aktibo, Push Natin To”

I. RATIONALE

Pursuant to Presidential Decree No.942, the Nutrition Act of the

Philippines the National Nutrition Council (NNC) leads the observe of Nutrition
Month

With the theme “Kumain ng wasto at Maging Aktibo, Push Natin To”. This
year’s celebration of National Nutrition Month aims to improve the healthy food
consumption, proper food intake and proper exercise to maintain our healthy body.

II. Program Descripton

In line with celebration of nutrition month the Datal Dlanag Elementary School
will also be conducting different activities that involves the teachers, learners and
parents. The activity will definitely provide opportunities to our teachers, learners and
parents to showcase their skills in cooking, singing, dancing, poster making, slogan
making and fruit and vegetable arrangement. This activity as well measure the
intellectual capacity of our learner about the importance of nutrition trough out nutri-
quiz.

III. Objectives

1. To increase awareness on the importance of proper diet.

2. To prevent malnutrition and contribute to the reduction of non-communicative
diseases
3. To give importance on proper exercise
4. To engage PTA in school activities
