THE FRUIT OF SACRIFICE

“KYAAAAAAH!!! WEEEEEE!!! BOOOOOOM!!!

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!”, irritating noise, nonstop
filling the atmosphere of the dirty, narrow, and chaotic
street, where the little poor girl, Corinne, live…
One early morning, when the sun stared to shine,
Corinne immediately stand up from her patched
scratches, with her half-opened eyes and gently
stretched her body as she’s getting ready for the new
adventure of suffering she is going to face.
“Oh! What a lovely morning it is?”, Corrine
murmured with a big smile on her face and excitement
to her voice.
But as she waking up for reality, seeing the chaotic
world she belongs, her smile slowly began to fade away
and her excitement changed to disappointment and
hopelessness.
Even then, she did not let herself drown in
negativity, instead, she revive her appeatite to live.
“I know I can do this!”, she whispered to herself as to
strengthen her faith.
 Corinne is an orphan beggar, she live only with
herself. But even if she has no family…parents
especially… to grow her up with the so called ‘manners’;
she already have those.
She is a kind-hearted girl, she has dreams and
determination. She wants to study, to have a nice job,
get out of the chaotic world she belong, and live happily
and peacefully.
When the night started to spread, she also started to
look for some old books, newspaper, or magazines she
can use and read it within the dim light of the street.
She really wants to go to school. But unfortunately
she can’t.
Until one day…
“BEEEEEEEEP!!!”, stunning sound of a horn made
the people froze, put cars on a slow motion, and time
stops, when a senior citizen walk across the busy road
and nearly bumped and killed by a hurrying vehicle.
But Corinne hurriedly save the old woman, Mrs. Cruz.
Mrs. Cruz is one of the most famous and wealthiest
woman of the country. Despite of her being rich, she
choose a simple living, yet she live in a mansion house
she didn’t close her heart for the poor people, she even
have no bodyguards, and walk alone on the street like a
common people do.
“Thank you so much! You are such my guardian
angel. My hero”, Mrs. Cruz said to her with a teary eyed
after Corinne save her from the accident.
“Hurry up!.. ..I’ll treat you, in exchange for saving
my life”, the old woman uttered with a smile on her
face… Corinne just smiled as her response.

While they are eating on one of the most prestigious
food chain, Mrs. Cruz found out that Corinne is an
orphan and living alone ; no family, no home, no
school.
“Corinne, if you want, stay with me. I’ll take care
of you and send you to school”, Mrs. Cruz offered.
The last words stunned Corinne and make her
inner feeling feast and her ears clapped with joy as she
hug the woman tightly full of appreciation and tears
dropped on her cheeks.
“Thank you so much! You’re a fallen angel from
Heaven to Earth! my dreams come true!”, Corinne said.
 After the meal, Corinne came home with Mrs. Cruz
and they become good friends. They treated her as a
member of the family and all the promises of Mrs. Cruz
were fulfilled.
Now Corinne is one of the most idolized and
intelligent businesswoman and working as the CEO of
one of the largest company in the world. She finished
her schooling in the most prestigious school in US with
the highest degree.
The girl that was bullied before, no home , never
felt the love of a family , now a lady boss, rich, having
her own palace-like home, and overflooding and
overflowing love of a family she desired.
Because of her kindness and strong determination,
her sacrifices bear a good fruit that brought her what she
is right now.
