DEDICATION
Above all, thanks to the Supreme being who gave us the opportunity to grow up
and be ourselves as individuals and then as people with specific knowledge,
because it gave us wisdom and patience to be able to assimilate all that learning in
our academic process of formation" and giving us our teachers, facilitating foreign
and our academic peers of the Institute.
To our families who were and are our main source of motivation to start, course
and complete this arduous and challenging personal project.
Adalberto.
Édinson.
GRATITUDE
To all the people who believed in us and made part of our formation process, thank
you so much!
Each and every one of the teachers who contributed to our academic training,
making a valuable contribution with their knowledge and experience, thank you!
To the teachers, Luis, Diony, Steven, Yeison, Carlos and Catalina, who with their
pieces of advice, not only from the academic level but also personally and we
constantly encouraged (us) solving doubts, concerns, anxieties and problems, of
these processes. Infinite thank you! not only for being our teachers, but our friends,
for their warmth, company, humanity and humility, qualities that we will remember
for a long time.
To our partners, our academic peers, with whom we have shared moments of joy
and sorrow, certainties and uncertainties; those who we have debated with, those
who we have talked to and learned from this accumulation of knowledge that each
one in their particularities has.
To Lente Institute, for opening a door to the world with unlimited trails.

With the aim of making an aware feedback of training in communication skills in the
English language, process in which the authors of this work of documentary
research of qualitative cutting took part as active actors, seeks to know the genesis
of the proposal understood as semantic associative methods. 1
The non-conscious way that authors understand their progress, but which
undeniably recognizes a progress in the area, encourages them searching be
disclosed those incidental matters that facilitate the quality, efficiency and
effectiveness of their English learning process as second language, with life-skills.
In addition, Article 2 of Decree 2888 of July 31, 2007, issued by the Ministry of
National Education cites: "Education for Work and Human Development, includes
permanent, personal, social and cultural formation, which is based on an integral
conception of the person, that an institution organizes in an institutional
educational project, and that structure in flexible curricula without subjection to the
system of levels and degrees proper of the formal education. Education for work
and human development are part of the public educational service, responds to the
aims of education enshrined in Article 5 of Law 115 of 1994 and leads to the
obtaining of a certificate of occupational aptitude. 3

Indeed, discerning about something what is not knowing it does make sense,
logically and ethically it would be incorrect, but if on the contrary, a primary
exploration process is carried out, which allows to recognize importance and
interest elements , , with transcendence and objectivity for the subsequent
discernment, which facilitates speaking more amply, objective and properly way
without violating others points of view, then it is possible having the license, not
only to discerning, but to arguing, positioning, establishing and reconciling forms,
styles, Proposals and others connotations resulting from this discernment factor, in
which there are different bets, from the personal, the familiar and the institutional.
The aforementioned referents make up this legal component, which in Colombia
supports the teaching, learning and training processes.
The final report of the research is organized into five chapters that allows the
reader to know the experiences, content compiled and analyzed, the theoretical,
methodological, conceptual approach and the final result. Each chapter deeply
details the most relevant aspects to keep captive to interested readers.
The final chapter addresses a special chapter , since, from the exclusive point of
view of the authors (without distorting what has been done so far by Lente Institute
and its collaborators) it makes a compendium of weaknesses identified in the
process (2016 - 2019), aspects considered from the SWOT Matrix, with an
additional part inspired to be proactive, with suggestions for the transmission
process (teachers) and the apprehension (students) of knowledge, without this
having a compulsory relationship for its fulfillment or implementation underway by
Lente Institute:
The first of them has been called "Pandora": "A look at the Local - Regional –
Institutional Context ", it makes a general introduction to the study area, where
meaning and justification is provided to the investigation through some references
SUMMARY
The present research work seeks to recognize the dimension and scope of the
Semantic Associative Method for communication in English language, proposed by
Luis Eduardo Naranjo Idárraga, languages bachelor, and implemented in Lente
Institute in Urabá during the training period from the middle of the year 2016 until
the middle of the year 2019.
The present analysis, does not seek to compare the proposed method with other
existing methods, much less makes a comparison between Lens Institute with
other Institutes existing in the middle, nor approve or not the method itself, but
understand its primary object is or are theoretical, conceptual, pedagogical and
methodological supports for the transmission of the teaching - learning process
and, of course, to understand the logical context that allows or does not allow this
relationship.

No doubt the epicenter where you can see this phenomenon with greater clarity is
the municipality of Apartadó, currently the most populated urban center of all those
that make up the region and the main one of the so-called banana axis that is
made up, apart from Apartadó, by the towns of Turbo, Carepa and Chigorodó. The
racial and folkloric melting pot that takes place there can be understood much
better if one takes into account that the history of its doubling is crossed by two
major colonization processes clearly differentiated and superimposed, a first
process originated by the north and the west, which It dates back to the conquest
and extends from the republic in the nineteenth century and culminates in the first
decades of the twentieth century and a second process from the south and staged
in the twentieth century. Both processes left a very marked imprint in their cultural
conformation as a result of the enormous racial mixture. 7
The region owes its name to Martín Fernández de Enciso in 1500 who, in
reference to the low salinity of the waters of the gulf, called it Urabá, literally Golfo
de Agua Dulce.

It has also been said that in the Katía language, Urabá means Promised Land. In
this region you will find much diversity of the economy. Other versions affirm that in
that region inhabited the "Urabaes", a tribe of the Caribbean linguistic family.
However, the region is not established in any map because the divisions of the
departments can hardly reflect the history of the regions and their inhabitants.

"GÉNESIS"
"VISUALIZING AND REFLECTING THEORETICAL, CONCEPTUAL AND
PEDAGOGICAL REFERENCES"
Whenever a theory appears as the only possible one, taking it to the letter is
a sign that neither the theory nor the problem to be solved has been
understood.

CHAPTER 2

"VISUALIZING AND REFLECTING THEORETICAL, CONCEPTUAL AND
PEDAGOGICAL REFERENCES"
Conceptual Referents
The importance of recognizing and being clear with the different concepts, words
and phrases with sense aroused before and during the development of this
research work, allows us to understand the different dimensions proposed by the
study object. But also, giving a schematic and clarifying orientation about personal
ideas, the staging of the Semantic Associative Method, cause - effect relationships
that makes possible to see them in the light of different theoretical and
methodological positions.
Words and concepts in themselves are idealized and connoted proposals that do
not make sense until they are filled with meaning and content, which is reinforced
in aware practice, in its use and exercise.
A Main Thematic Axis that takes a starting point for research: (Semantic
Associative Method for the achievement of Academic Knowledge for
Communication in English Language). For its conceptualization it was
necessary to develop adjacent complementary lines that would break it down,
unveil it and put it in function of knowledge.
Syntax: is the part of the grammar that studies the rules and principles that govern
the combinatorial syntactic constituents and the formation of superior units to
these, such as syntagma and grammatical sentences. The syntax, therefore,
studies the ways in which words are combined, as well as the syntagmatic and
paradigmatic relationships existing between them. 14

https://educacion.laguia2000.com/aprendizaje/aprendizaje-por-asociacion
Autonomy in Learning: it is understood the ability that the student develops to
organize their own learning process. Unlike autonomy, spontaneous and
unconscious, that each person can exercise in everyday life, autonomy in learning
is intentional, conscious, explicit and analytical. Its exercise implies the learner's
determination to be responsible and make personal decisions about their learning,
as well as the willingness to participate, along with the teacher, in the negotiation of
the following aspects: the identification of their own learning needs and the
definition of its objectives; the planning of the classes; the selection of the contents
and the establishment of their sequencing; the selection of the appropriate didactic
materials; training in the use of various techniques and strategies, but especially
those of learning and metacognitive; and, finally, the realization of the self-
evaluation.16
Linguistics: is the scientific discipline that investigates the origin, evolution and
structure of language, in order to deduce the laws that govern languages (ancient
and modern). Thus, Linguistics studies the fundamental structures of human
language, its variations through all language families (which also identify and
classify) and the conditions that make possible the understanding and
communication through natural language. Like all science, Linguistics has
theoretical proposals, methods of analysis and domains of study that are specific to
it. 17
Learning by Association: It is one of the many methods that exist to learn, and is
in turn the most common. It is present not only in people, but also in animals, the
associative method being the means by which animals learn to survive from early
ages in their environment.19

Teaching: is the action and effect of teaching, instructing, indoctrinating and
mastering with rules and precepts. It is a system and a method of giving
instruction, formed by the set of knowledge, principles and ideas that are taught to
someone.
It involves the interaction of three elements: teacher; students or disciple; and the
object of knowledge.20
Native speaker: as it has been applied so far in linguistics, suffers from a series of
weaknesses and theoretical limitations with consequences in their applied
developments. In contrast, this article proposes the term and the concept of
communicator, which allows contemplating various facets of communicative
competence and the differential development of these in both monolingual
and bilingual individuals. This concept allows the consideration of the
progress or stagnation of the competition in one or several languages or
varieties in an individual throughout his life. 22

23

Meaning is also the meaning of a word or a phrase and the object that is
meant.24
Cognition: is defined as the action and effect of knowing. The word comes from
the Latin cognitio which in turn is composed of the particles with, meaning
'together' or 'all', and gnōscō or gnōscere, which means 'to know' or 'to have a
notion'.
Thus, cognition is a faculty of the living being that allows it to record and interpret
the information it receives through experience, perception and subjectivity.
The process of cognition involves the use of mental abilities such as attention,
memory, feelings, reasoning, the ability to solve problems, decision making and,
finally, learning.25

Communicative Competences:27 the set of aptitudes that allow an adequate
communication. For this, the individual uses all the sign systems of his
sociocultural community. D. H. Hymes, creator of this concept, summarizes them in
the following points:
When to speak
When not to talk
What to talk about
Who to talk to?
Where to speak
How to talk
In some cases, it is also understood as the usual way of doing something for a
person based on experience, custom and personal preferences. 28

This is achieved through the application of a theoretical body to an object of
knowledge, through a strategy and a set of procedures that, in sum, constitute the
method of a specific and specific science.
The following are some of the theoretical references of teaching - tracked learning:
Postulate: A postulate is a proposition that is not self-evident, nor proven, but that
is accepted, since there is no other principle to which it can be referred.
If the proposition is considered obvious and accepted without prior demonstration, it
is called an axiom. 30

A hypothesis can be used as a provisional proposal that is not intended to be strictly
demonstrated, or it can be a prediction that must be verified by the scientific
method. In the first case, the level of veracity that is given to a hypothesis will
depend on the extent to which the empirical data support what is affirmed in the
hypothesis. This is what is known as empirical testing of the hypothesis or validation
process of the hypothesis. This process can be done by confirmation (for universal
hypotheses) and / or by verification (for existential hypotheses).

The first is the explanation of the Semantic Associative Method, from which key
research concepts are retaken; second, the tracking of information concerning to
the theories of Teaching - Learning; the third, Pedagogical theories; fourth, the
tracking of documents in relation to the Common European Framework of

As direct actors of the process, the authors considered convenient, the approach of

requirements: 1, that they were spaces in which the two authors had participated;
2, that they comply with the referent of representation of the four levels offered in
the process. For this reason, four classes at level A1 were taken as a sample,
which were documented at the time by one of the authors; In addition, two classes
were taken for each of the three remaining levels: A2, B1 and B2.

During the research process, the authors managed to identify some aspects that
will build, so diplomatic, respectful, considerations and proposals to Lente Institute
who develops semantic associative methods as axis Central of teaching - learning
to achieve competence in communication in English, in addition, on the
understanding that the authors, were active participants in the process during the
period 2016-2019.
THOUGHTS
First of all, the authors of this work, recognizing it as part of a stage of the process
implemented by Lente Institute recognize the validity of the method, its benefits
and, although perhaps they fail to measure the scope of the same, give a vote in
behalf and are spokespeople of the same in other contexts.
Understanding the effort and progress that has been Lente Institute in the
improvement of locative spaces and expansion in the subregion, is considered of
great importance that the environments of teaching - learning provided by Lente
Institute, ensure that differentiation with traditional places of training (classroom).
Beyond if students are boys, girls, young or adult. These changes in the spaces
that suggest be personalized; arranged, decorated, they would allow students to
live them, feel them, are identified in them. As you talk to it, among other cases,
work from the psychology of the student, their motivation, their sense of belonging
by him or her, the process of formation and the facilitative institution.
Still, when the method has its seat in a theoretical specific guidance, as discussed
in chapter two, referred to as "Génesis", this is immersed in a crucible of
pedagogical and methodological possibilities that would enhance the method
without losing its primary purpose, but on the other hand, opening new doors for
access, entry and appropriation by new students, who motivated would assume the
challenge of being part of the process.
In the implementation of the method it is necessary to carry out the monitoring path
to learning strategies designed and proposed in the academic context and which
lead to increasing levels of learning autonomy. This means actual pedagogical and
methodological resources like vocabulary, reading and analysis of books or
strategic documents, practices of interaction, among others, in such a way that
comfort of students with the method, to generate taking advantage of the many
ways of teaching and identifying variety forms of learning that students reflect. In
addition, the implementation of spaces with intentional for some skills, even in
extra time exclusive strengthening class or strengthening of practices or interaction
and conversation groups (classroom of audible, scenarios) (educational and
recreational fun and participatory intentional) speaking, among others.

actividad (tijeras, cartulina y marcadores).

mayor acceso a input comprensible. Hablantes
competente
