ADJUSTED ENROLLMENT AND PAYMENT SCHEDULES (FIRST SEMESTER, 2019-2020)

A. ADJUSTMENTS

The adjustments were made for several reasons. The suspension of work and classes during the
enrollment period forced us to move the online enrollment to July 19. There were adjustments in the
schedules that we had to make.

B. SCHEDULE

The schedule we will follow is shown below. The schedule for payments has been altered. This has been
sent to the Accounting Office, OUR and ITS. This is our proposal. As soon as we get the go-signal, we will
advise you of the deadlines for payment.

C. QUEUING FOR MANUAL ADJUSTMENT

To avoid long lines in the school for manual adjustment, we will institute a queuing system via email.

Send the email to DLSUCOLQUEUE@gmail.com. Please read this ENTIRE message before you send the
email.

For the 5YR program students, you can send an email for the manual adjustment (to be conducted on
Saturday, 20 July 2019, 0900 to 1400) from 1900 to 2200 on Friday, 19 July 2019. Do not send an email
before or after the stated period, it will not be considered. On Saturday, 20 July 2019, we will open the
email and call you in for adjustment BASED on the sequence we received the email.

Returning students need not send an email, they can come any time on Saturday from 0900 to 1400. They
will be given priority. We expect only 5 to 8 students.

For the 4YR program students, you can send an email for the manual adjustment (to be conducted on
Monday, 21July 2019 and Tuesday, 22 July 2019) from 0800 to 1700 on Saturday, 20 July 2019. Again, do
not send an email outside of this period, it will not be considered. On Sunday, 21 July 2019, we will send
an email to the LSG, to be posted via FB, the schedule of the time you may go to the BGC for adjustment.
This will indicate the time you will go to BGC. The notice will indicate the time of receipt in the email
send. For example, the notice will state that those who sent an email between 0830 to 0930 will be
entertained by Rochelle at 0900 to 0930 on Monday, 22 July 2019. You will not receive individual emails,
so watch out for announcements. This avoids long queues. You may go an hour before so that if we finish
those scheduled, you can come in and finish your enrollment.

4YR program students who wish to take their chances on Saturday, 20 July 2019 may come in after 1200.
There will be no email necessary, you just need to come, sign-up and hope that the 5YR program students
will be done or will not be too many. As a fail-safe, it is suggested that you send the email, then come
over.

119 students (incoming first-year students) who wish to drop courses must come to BGC on Friday 19 July
2019, 0900 to 1700.

D. PAYMENTS

In previous semesters, some students had difficulty paying the fees. There are several facilities open to
you. Many have filed for scholarships. Some have filed for loans. Others have filed for payment on an
installment basis. Please study these options. We are here to help, but it will be very hard to help you if
you let the deadlines lapse and you do not seek advice. Please do not wait for the funds to be available
and then come to us to reinstate you. The system will drop you from the rolls based on the deadlines.
PLEASE see us early in the semester so we can help you. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE SYSTEM DROPS YOU
FROM THE ROLLS.

E. 115 STUDENTS (and older) ON GBES

In the loading of the blocks for 115 students (and older), we could not keep the groupings of 3 (or 2) and
maintain a balance of number of students in the sections. Your needs are just too varied. However, we
did pre-enroll you in the courses you indicated in the IBES. We have given you (115 and older) a separate

time slot for online enrollment to allow you more flexibility and to finish by December 2019. We are sorry
for this, we did not foresee the variety of the courses that you will be taking.

F. ADVISING

If you wish to see the associate dean for advising, you can come on Friday, 19 July 2019 from 0930 to
1200, 1330 to 1900; Saturday, 20 July 2019, from 0800 to 1200.
