and Oklahoma

6. The major purpose of this study was to identify the classroom management skills
most needed by business education student teachers.The subjects for this study
were members of NABTE in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. One
hundred and six respondents completed and returned the questionnaire. Of the
106 respondents, 40 were student teachers, 44 were cooperating teachers, and
22 were university supervisors.Statistical treatments, such as mean, standard
deviation, frequencies, percentages, and an analysis of variance were
conducted for each item. The data were processed using "Statistics With
Finesse” (Bolding, 1987), using the .05 level of significance.By rank ordering
the statements according to the mean and standard deviation score, the
researcher compiled a list of the most important classroom management skills'
needed by business education student teachers.
