Sponsored By
For Group-A — Rs. 350/- (Rs. Three Hundred Fifty only) per child.
For Group-B — Rs. 350/- (Rs. Three Hundred Fifty only) per child.
For Group-C — Rs. 450/- (Rs. Four Hundred Fifty only) per child.
For Group-D — Rs. 450/- (Rs. Four Hundred Fifty only) per child.
However, the Students applying directly will have to pay an additional sum of Rs. 50/- (Rs. Fifty Only) as "Registration Fee" along
with the above mentioned Examination Fee.
Foreign Students will have to send an Extra Amount of Rs. 250/- (Rs. Two Hundered Fifty Only) in Indian Currency in addition to the
Examination Fee in order to cover postal expenses.
Students applying directly will send the above mentioned Examination Fee by Bank Draft drawn in favour of
Children’s Education Trust, payable at New Delhi, alongwith duly filled-in Registration Form so downloaded, from the
Website or obtained otherwise.
The Schools will remit Examination Fee collectively for their students, latest by 30th September, 2018. The Bank Draft
will be made in favour of Children's Education Trust, payable at New Delhi and be sent at C-207, First Floor, Naraina
Industrial Area, Phase-I, New Delhi-110028 OR Deposit the Cash in Children’s Education Trust Account in the
Branch of IDBI Bank A/C No. 040104000100199 and send the Original Deposit Slip along with the Registration
Form.
We will appreciate, if typed group-wise students' list as per the enclosed format is sent through
E-mail : cetmsi@gmail.com , cetmsi@yahoo.com, office@cetmsi.com This will save time, energy, correspondance and
will be prompt and much easier.
IMPORTANT : Please note that without the Original Deposit Slip OR the Bank Draft, we will not be able to start
the process of Registration.
WRITTEN EXAMINATION
The Written Examination for Groups A, B, C and D will be held at important places or where students are more, all over the
Country and Abroad on Saturday, 1st Dec., 2018 or Sunday, 2nd Dec., 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for all the
Groups, at the Centres Fixed for the Examination. Principals of the schools can select any date, out of the two dates, so
given above. It is important to note that the Examination will be carried out on “Negative Marking System”, i.e. If any
question is answered wrongly the Mark of that question will be deducted from the total Marks obtained, e.g. If a student
answers five questions, each of 2 Marks wrongly and answers twenty questions, each of 2 Marks , correctly, then his/her
total Marks in the particular paper would be 40-10=30 Marks. Further, if one tries to answer a question, which carries 2
Marks, firstly by giving wrong answer but by second thought gives correct answer, even by rubbing or cutting the first one,
Marking for that question will be done as -2+2=0. Thus the Marks achievement will be zero in that particular question.
Therefore, in his/her own interest, every student is advised that he/she should avoid taking chance in answering
question if he/she is not sure about the correct answer.
All questions will be objective type. The answers will be given on the answer paper sheets. No extra sheet of paper
will be supplied nor any student will be allowed to write on any separate sheet. Nothing should be written on the
question paper. Rough work, if needed, be done on the back of the answer-sheet. THERE MAY BE TWO SETS
OF QUESTION PAPERS FOR DIFFERENT DAYS OF THE EXAMINATION SCHOOL CAN SELECT ONLY
ONE DATE OF EXAMINATION.
CENTRES FIXED FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION
Usually every District will have atleast one Centre where Examination will be conducted for this programme provided
there will be more than 70 students. Once an Examination Centre is fixed, no request or representation regarding change of
Centre will be entertained. However, there will be about 300 Centres in the Country and Abroad where the Examination
will be conducted simultaneously on the Fixed Date. Overseas Students will also Appear for the said Examination in the
Country, where they are studying on the same date.
NOTE : A SCHOOL, ON REQUEST, CAN BE MADE A CENTRE FOR
THE A.l.T.S. EXAMINATION - 2018 FROM WHERE ATLEAST 70 STUDENTS OF EITHER GROUP
COLLECTIVELY ARE EXPECTED TO APPEAR AT THE EXAMINATION.
WRITTEN TEST UNDER GROUPS A, B, C & D
Students who qualify in the Written Examination with Grade B+, A or A+ and on the recommendation of the A.I.T.S.
Award Committee will be given Awards, Scholarships OR Cash Awards . The date for the same will be informed to the
Schools through e-mail or otherwise, after the result of Written Examination is declared. Sometime due to the Postal
delay letters do not reach in time, School Authorities and students are therefore, requested to please check the Website :
www.cetmsi.com
No Marks Sheet will be given to any student, but a list of the Students, who Qualify in the Written Examination,
will be displayed on the Website and will also be sent to the Schools for information through E-mail to be told to the
students, whether applying directly or through Schools.
After Selection , list of students selected for A.l.T.S. Award-2018 will be sent to INCEF for giving the Awards,
Scholarships OR Cash Awards to them, as per their Rules. Number of Awards, Scholarships OR Cash Awards will be
decided by INCEF for each year and Students will be selected accordingly. The Awards so recommended by CET and
approved by INCEF are final & binding upon all the participants and can not be challenged in the court.
WRITTEN TEST SUBJECTS :
For Groups A, B & C : (i) Language Paper (English) (ii) General Science & Maths.
(iii) General Knowledge.
For Group D : (i) Language Paper (English) (ii) General Knowledge
(For Groups A, B & C there will be three papers, each paper will be of one hour duration while for Group-D, there will be
two papers only, each paper will be of one and half hours duration.)
NOTE : Question Papers will be printed in English only and the same will be made available
in the Examination Hall.
STANDARD AND SYLLABUS OF THE EXAMINATION
No syllabus or text books are either prescribed or suggested for preparation to these Examinations. Hence, children should be
encouraged to learn, know and understand thoroughly as much as they can, at their particular class/age by obtaining maximum
information and general awareness apart from their School Textbooks.
However, just to give an idea about the programme and what children of their age should know apart from their School syllabus, a set of
Old Question Papers for each group will be sent by post, free of cost, to the Schools, on request.
These Question Papers will also be made available to students against payment of Rs. 100/- (Rupees Hundred only) to know the pattern
of Examination. Students who desire to have such Question Papers should send Rs. 100/- by Demand Draft favouring Children’s
Education Trust, payable at New Delhi. along with the postal stamped & self addressed envelope of size 5" x 12". Please write on the
envelope, ”FOR OLD QUESTION PAPERS” and specify the Group for which the Question Papers are needed.
NOTE : 1. The result will be declared on the basis of A.I.T.S. Written Examination only.
2. Students will always use and write Registration Number in all their correspondence and also on the Answer Sheet.
SUGGESTIONS TO THE PARENTS
I) In this test, age/class is the most important factor in selecting children for the Award. Younger be the child in his/her group, more
will be the chances of his/her selection for the Award.
Therefore, do not bother in which class your ward is studying, see and check only whether the child is eligible to appear in the said
Examination under Any Group or Not.
ii) The Evaluation for granting Awards, Scholarships OR Cash Awards is based on the Written Examination.
iii) Every child is Examined and Judged for his/her Talent. It has nothing to do with the books, he/she reads or where he / she studies.
iv) Therefore, no book is prescribed for the test.

Dear Sir/Madam,
We thank you very much for your continued active co-operation in the noble quest of promoting Excellence in
children by organising the A.I.T.S. Examination every year at your prestigious School / Institution.
This year, the A.I.T.S. Examination has been scheduled for either Saturday, the 1st December, 2018 OR Sunday,
the 2nd December, 2018 which will be conducted all over the Country and Abroad between 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. You
are requested to choose the date and inform us accordingly.
You had always been kind enough to provide the space and facilities to conduct the examination. We, therefore,
request you to confirm that you have no objection to the said examination if being held in your School either on
Saturday, the 1st December, 2018 OR Sunday, the 2nd December, 2018 at 09:00 a.m. Actual requirement of class-
rooms and the number of students will be informed to you in October, 2018.
We hope to have your co-operation in this matter and we will feel obliged to have your Consent in the enclosed Performa by
return of post. Some outside students may also appear in your school as 'Centre'. Sometimes it so happens that less than 70
students are appearing in the A1TS Examination from your school, Normally such students are, asked to appear for the
Examination at the nearby 'Centre'. However, if there is no Examination Centre within the 50-100 Km. then in the interest of
the students and the school, at large, we request the school authorities to permit their students to appear in the school as
Examination Centre. In such cases the school authorities will have to manage the Centre Expenses within the 10% of the
examination fee.
Further, for your information, we would like to bring to your kind notice that payments at the following rates are
made to Schools to meet the 'Centre Expenses'.
1. Schools sponsoring more than 70 students and accept to be the Centre of AITS Written Examination , can retain 20% of
the Examination fees 'Centre Expenses including all other expenses related with the Examination.
2. Students from other Schools appearing at your School Centre - You will be paid Rs. 20/- per student (Amount of money
of these outside students will be sent to you, in advance).
3. In addition to the above, It has been decided to Award such Teachers/ Co-ordinator / Exam. Incharge with a suitable
Gift / Award to be sent by February, 2019 as an incentive, provided the number of students from the School exceed 120.
