ACCEPTANCE REPORT

I. PROJECT TITLE: HAN-AAGGIN PATO, A BIG BOOK IN GRADE I

II. PROJECT RESPONDENTS:


 33 Grade I Learners of Kayapa Central School

IV. BACKGROUND AND RATIONALE

The big book made by the proponent was corrected by the School Research Committee
and then the District Research Committee, then it was brought to the Quality Assurance
Team, Division of Nueva Vizcaya. After all the corrections made, the proponent used the big
book as a material in solving one to two-step routine and non-routine word problems
involving addition of whole numbers.

The proponent found the big book a suitable material because it made the lesson
captivating and enjoyable.
The big book was also used as a reading material in Mother Tongue particularly in
noting details and in teaching letter / Pp /. It was also used in Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao
specifically in maintaining good relationships between brothers and sisters or family and to
friends as well.

V. OBJECTIVES

The learners were able to :


 solve one to two-step routine and non- routine word problems involving addition of
whole numbers
 make teaching-learning process interesting and enjoyable
 improve their addition skills
 appreciate the value of stories in big book

VI. METHODOLOGY

Test result and item analysis was done.

VII. BENEFICIARIES:

The material was conducted to the Grade I Learners of Kayapa Central School.

X. PROJECT SUSTAINABILITY

The project was utilized to address the least mastered competencies in Mathematics
Grades I. The big book was displayed in the library so that other learners can read.

XII. RECOMENDATIONS
The big book is effective and appropriate to the learners since it was written in our
own dialect. Hence, the proponent strongly recommend that the project be used in grade 1
specially in Mathematics, particularly in solving one to two-step routine and non-routine
word problems involving addition of whole numbers.
