Title of Activity 2019 NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION


Theme: “Kumain nang wasto at maging aktibo… push natin ‘to!”

Objectives The Celebration aims to:


a. To help individuals make informed food choices and be guided on how to integrate physical
activity in daily life.
b. Jump-start or reinforce nutrition advocacies and policies;
c. Mobilize stakeholders to provide an enabling environment for healthy diet and physical
activity.

ACTIVITIES

1. Nutrition Month Trivia


 Opening of the Nutrition Month 2019 Celebration
 Every Tuesday and Friday)
 1-3 questions with corresponding prices during Culmination Day.
 Open to all students
 Assign teachers: Rochell H. Sabado

2. VEGETABLE GARDEN CONTEST ( July 1 – 31, 2018 )


 To be done during Advisory Period
 Three (3) Crops are being selected randomly.
 Areas are based on what kind of crops being selected c/o Jonathan F. Jacosalem

Criteria:
 Arrangement 35%
 Uses recyclable material as planting materials ----20%
 Plants are fully bloomed, ready for harvest on the last day of July -- 45%
 Care of Classroom Adviser.

3. NUTRITION FACT BULLETIN CONTEST ( July ___ )

 should be done during their TLE Period to avoid destruction of classes.


 2 students representative in every classroom.
 Mechanics; Print out pictures, No border, Crayon/ Oil Pastel/ Pentel Pen
 On the spot.
 The top 3 entries will be proclaimed as winner as indicated;

5. EXPERIMENTAL COOKING DEMO/ ACTIVITIES (on the Culmination Day)


 Fish for main ingredients
 Market basket Approach
 Five ( 5) students representative each section and will be excuse after recess time
The output will be present during lunch time.

6. FRUITS and VEGETABLE DISPLAY ( on the Culmination Day)


 Will be present at the School Gymnasuim.

7. FEEDING ACTIVITIES ( Every Friday / ICL time )


 Selected students based from their BMI during lunch time every Friday)
 To be done during TLE period by respective subject teacher

8. NUTRI- JINGLE CONTEST ( on the Culmination Day ) will be presented in Culmination day
 Minimum of 35 students in every section
 Each group will present a Nutri – Jingle time allotment 2-3 minutes.
