This guide focuses on the features of this absolutely amazing Article Genie Software and how to use it
to its fullest. Read this user manual completely leverage the full power of Article Genie.

1 Installing Article Genie

Article Genie is supported in both Windows and Mac platforms. In Windows, this application is
supported in both 64-bit and 32-bit windows systems.

1.1 Installation on Windows:

Please follow below steps to Install Article Genie on Windows Machine –

1. Login to Article Genie Members Area.

2. Navigate to ‘Download’ section.
3. Select Windows 64-bit or 32-bit version of the software as per your system.
4. Click on the download and save the zip file to your local folder.

5. Use any unzip software to unzip the zip file into a separate folder.

6. Double click on the newly created folder and get inside the folder to get access to the
software.

7. Right click on ‘Article Genie.exe’ and select ‘Create Shortcut’ option as highlighted below to
create shortcut for the application in the desktop for quick and easy access.

8. Next, to open the application, either double click on the ‘Article Genie.exe’ file within the folder
OR double click on the shortcut that you created in the desktop using previous step –

2 How to use Article Genie in Simple steps
Before we get to detailed features of Article Genie, let’s see how to use the app in simple 1-2-3 steps –

1. Open the App.

2. Paste your article in the ‘Article Input Panel’ on the left as shown in below picture.
3. Click ‘Generate’ button in the bottom.

Wala… Your 100% unique article ready to use!

Though it’s that simple, go through the complete sections below to learn more amazing & powerful
features and options.

3 Configuring Settings Screen
Using options available in the settings panel to you can configure Article Genie application and make the
application more powerful and flexible. From this screen you can configure Copy Scape setup, Stop
word list and Ignore words list. We will go through these capabilities in more details below -

See below for various options available in the Settings Panel –

3.1 Copy Scape Setup

Article Genie has an in-built integration with the #1 popular application that checks plagiarism or article
duplications on the web.

If you have a copy scape account, you can store the credentials within Article Genie and use the
integration to check plagiarism or article duplications.

Follow below steps to setup your Copy Scape Credentials –

1. Login to Article Genie.

2. Navigate to Settings Panel by clicking the Gear icon on the left pane.
3. In the top section of the settings panel (see above screenshot of settings Panel ) –
a. Update your copy scape login.
b. Update your copy scape password just below the login.
c. Click on Save button.
4. Application will save the user credentials for the future use, when you want to check the
articles for duplication or plagiarism.
5. Application will provide a confirmation message as below confirming that your account is saved
successfully in the system.

 6. That’s it! You are all set to integrate Article Genie with Copy Scape and check for article
duplication within the Article Genie application.

3.2 Ignore Words Setup

In this section provide list of words that you want Article Genie to ignore while generating 100% unique
article.

Follow below steps to update the list of Ignore words -

1. Login to Article Genie.

2. Navigate to Settings Panel by clicking the Gear icon on the left pane.
3. On the left bottom section (see above screenshot of settings Panel), you will see a section
where you can list all words that you want to be ignored while generating unique articles.
4. Click on Save button.
5. Application will save the list of ignore words and display below confirmation message.

3.3 Stop Words Setup

In this section provide list of words that you want Article Genie to USE while generating 100% unique
article. For detailed explanation on what is stop words, please read the FAQ section of this document
below.

Follow below steps to update the list of Ignore words -

1. Login to Article Genie.

2. Navigate to Settings Panel by clicking the Gear icon on the left pane.
3. On the right bottom section (see above screenshot of settings Panel), you will see a section
where you can list all words that you want to be used while generating unique articles.
4. We have compiled a list of stop words for you. You can download stopwords.txt file from
below location. If you want to add additional stop words, you can add them to the Stop
Words panel in the application directly.

5. Save the above file into your local machine.

6. Double check on the stopwords.txt file and open the file.
7. Select all stop words in the file and copy all of them.
8. Paste all the copied stop words into ‘Stop Words’ pane/section in the application.
9. Click on Save button.
10. Application will save the list of ignore words and display below confirmation message.

4 Blog Articles Screen (Finding Articles from
Article Directory)

This is one of the nitro powerful screen where you will be spending most of your time. This screen
provides below capabilities –

1. Finding latest articles on literally any niche you could think of.
2. Convert any articles into visually look alike, fully readable 100% unique articles.
3. Generate HTML encoded output.
4. Generate Spintax output.
5. Check for plagiarism using integrated Copy Scape account.

4.1 Finding Articles

If you lack any articles that you'd like to turn into a 100% unique piece of content, you are in
right place. Article Genie application helps in grabbing contents in 2 ways. First way is grabbing
from EZine article directory. Simply follow below steps -

1. Enter the keyword that you want to search, say for example, search ‘Weight Loss’.
2. Click on Search Icon as shown in below screenshot.

3. You will notice that the search result section on the right shows the latest 25 articles
downloaded from EzineArticles directory, as shown in below screenshot.

 4. You can click on any of those article headings to view the complete articles. As soon as you
click one of the article heading from right side panel, you will see the detail of that article on
the left ‘Article Input Panel’ (see above screenshot).

4.2 Generate Unique Article

Follow below steps to generate unique articles.

1. Select the article for which you want to generate unique article from search result pane.
5. Click on the Generate button at the bottom to generate visually looking alike, but 100%
unique article. (See below screenshot).

4.3 Perform Duplicate Article Check using Copy Scape Integrated option

Article that got converted my the magic tool Article Genie will always pass Unique
Article check by Copy Scape Premium service, which is the #1 article duplication
checker available in the market till date.

1. Make sure to Setup Copy Scape account credentials as discussed in section 3.1.
2. Click on Copy Scape button highlighted in below screenshot.

 3. Article Genie will connect to Copy Scape through API and perform Duplicate Article Check
and bring back the result, as shown in above screenshot.

4.4 Perform Duplicate Article Check by directly logging into Copy Scape

If you choose not to run copy scape check using integrated solution, you can directly log into
Copy Scape application and perform Duplicate Article Check.

1. Login to Copy Scape using your account credentials.

2. Select Premium Search option as shown in below screenshot.
3. Paste the converted article from Article Genie.
4. Hit ‘Premium Search button.

 5. Wala… to your surprise… Copy scape returns the result as No Matched Results found after
checking throughout the internet.

6. Next, copy the converted article from Article Genie, and paste to your Blog.
7. Publish the post.
8. Keep growing your Blog with lots and lots of unique contents!

4.5 Generate Unique Article using Stop Words

To learn what is stop words, please go to FAQ section.

Before using this option, please make sure you setup stop words in the settings
screen. Otherwise, you will not get expected result.

1. Navigate to Blog Article Screen.

2. Copy any article from any other blog and paste into ‘Article Input Pane’ section.
Alternatively, you can perform an article search by following steps in section 4.1 – Finding
Articles. Select an article from Latest Article Search result pane.
3. Select ‘Only on Stopwords’ check box in the bottom of the screen. See screenshot below

 4. Then click on Generate button.
5. This will instruct Article Genie to perform conversion only on stop words. Rest of the
words in the article will remain unchanged. Still, the generated article will be unique.
6. Click on Copy Scape button to perform Duplicate Article Check. Make sure to update Copy
Scape credentials in settings screen.

4.6 Generate HTML Encoded Output

To learn about HTML Encoded Output, please go to FAQ section.

1. Navigate to Blog Article Screen.

2. Copy any article from any other blog and paste into ‘Article Input Pane’ section.
Alternatively, you can perform an article search by following steps in section 4.1 – Finding
Articles. Select an article from Latest Article Search result pane.
3. Select ‘HTML Encoding’ check box in the bottom of the screen. See screenshot below.

 4. Then click on Generate button.
5. Article Genie will generate the article in HTML Encoded format, in the Article Output Pane.

4.7 Generate Spintax Output

To learn about Spintax Output, please go to FAQ section.

1. Navigate to Blog Article Screen.

2. Copy any article from any other blog and paste into ‘Article Input Pane’ section.
Alternatively, you can perform an article search by following steps in section 4.1 – Finding
Articles. Select an article from Latest Article Search result pane.
3. Select ‘Output as Spintax’ check box in the bottom of the screen. See screenshot below.

 4. Then click on Generate button.
5. Article Genie will generate the article in Spintax format, in the Article Output Pane.

5 Video Articles Screen (Converting Youtube

Videos to Articles)

In the previous section, we learnt first way of grabbing conents, that is from EZine article directory. In
this section we will learn the second way. Well, the second way is a really cool way of turning almost
any Youtube Video into an article.

There are two types of Youtube Videos, those that have Close Captions built in, and those that don't.

Let's focus on the first category first.

5.1 Finding Youtube videos containing subtitles/cc

1. Go to Youtube and Search for your keyword.

2. Click Search button. You will get initial results that contains both videos with and without
subtitles/cc.
3. Click on Advanced Filter icon to open up advanced filter tab, as shown in below screenshot.
4. When you see the advanced filter tab, hit "subtitles/cc" option as in below screenshot.

 5. Youtube result will immediately get refreshed and display only those videos with subtitles/cc,
as shown in below screenshot.

These results right here can be converted into text and then turned into 100% unique articles!

For instance, for the "weight loss" example there are over 1,280,000 results. That's a lot of unique
content you can use!

5.2 Generate Articles from Youtube Videos

Follow below steps to generate articles from youtube.

1. Navigate to Video Article Screen.

2. Follow steps in previous section 5.1, to find youtube articles with subtitles/cc.
3. Copy the Youtube URL you are interested in converting to an article.
4. Paste the Youtube URL into Article Genie Application and Click Search button. See below
screenshot.

 5. That's it- instant content at the click of a button!
6. Click on Generate button to convert youtube article into Visually looking alike 100% unique
article.
7. For generating article based on stop words, click on ‘Only on Stopwords’ checkbox in the
bottom of the screen and then click Generate button.
8. For generating article output in HTML Encoding format, click on ‘HTML Encoding’ checkbox
in the bottom of the screen and then click on Generate button.
9. For generating article output in Spintax format, click on ‘Output as Spintax’ checkbox in the
bottom of the screen and then click on Generate button.

6 WP Poster Screen (Basic Version)

This screen will allow you to manage posts for your wordpress blog from the Article Genie application
directly. This screen provides below capabilities –

1. Add wordpress blog account to Article Genie.

2. Find a most recent article from youtube video (with subtitle) based on a keyword search.
3. Post the article to selected blog.

6.1 Add Wordpress Blog Account

Follow below steps to add your wordpress blog to Article Genie application for posting.

 1. Click on Wordpress Poster icon on the left to navigate to Wordpress Poster screen.
2. Set Blog URL in below format –

http://www.BLOGNAME.com/wp-admin/

or

https://www.BLOGNAME.com/wp-admin/

In place of BLOGNAME, you can update your actual blog name.

3. Set Blog Admin username
4. Set Blog Admin Password
5. Click on Add Button.
6. You will get a confirmation message stating ‘Blog Added’. Just click ‘OK’ on the message
box.

7. Then you will notice that the blog get successfully added to the ‘Blog List’ section on the
right. See screenshot in the beginning of this section 6.1.

6.2 Remove Wordpress Blog Account

Follow below steps to remove Wordpress Blog Account from Article Genie.

 1. Click on ‘Wordpress Poster’ option/menu on the left.
2. Select the checkbox against the Blog name that you want to remove from Article Genie.
3. Click on Remove Button.
4. You are done!

6.3 Post article to the blog

Follow below steps to post video articles to blog.

1. Find right youtube videos with subtitle/cc by following instructions in the Video article
section.
2. Type in any keyword OR Copy and paste the youtube url into URL field in WP poster
section. See screenshot below with

3. Select the blog name where you want to post the video article, from right list section.
4. Click on Post button.

7 WP Poster Screen (Pro Version)

Pro version allows you to drip-feed or schedule posts to your wordpress blog. Automation of article
posting from this screen saves lot of time in identifying and scheduling posts to the blog. This screen
provides below capabilities -

1. Add or Remove wordpress blog account to Article Genie.

2. Allows to select how many latest youtube video articles to be generated, for a keyword search.
3. Allows to schedule the number posts per day and how many days the articles to be drip-fed.
4. Monitor the progress of posting through Blog Manager console.

7.1 Add/Remove wordpress blog account

Follow steps provided in section 6.1 and 6.2 above to add or remove blog account from Article
Genie.

7.2 Setup Dripfeed scheduler

Follow below steps to setup dripfeed/schedule posts.

7.3 Monitor progress of blog posting

Below screenshot shows key information to be noticed in the Blog manager section.

 This screen displays the progress of the Scheduled / Drip-feed Blog Posting progress.

Progress % column indicates the progress of latest posting job for the blog in first column.

Posted column indicates how many total posts expected to be posted as part of latest job and
how many of them got posted so far. In below example, there are 50 posts in total to be
scheduled. Out of which 32 posts got scheduled already.

Total Posted column indicates Total number of posts schedule/posted from the beginning of
start using Article Genie till today, for the blogname in the first column.

8 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION: ANSWERED

Why do I get the error, “Parameter ULR cannot be empty?”
Look at the video and see if you find caption button (CC – near the control bar) – Most of the videos
have it, but if the (CC) button is not there the software can’t pull the text. However, most of the videos
have this button so you will have plenty videos to choose from.

Now that we've established several ways for you to grab content to use with Article Genie, let's look at
a few other wicked-cool features this software has!

8.1 What's "Only on stopwords" ?

The tool works by altering some letters from random words so that while they look the same to you and
me, they are 100% unique to Google's eyes. If you don't think that's true, go ahead and try the output
on Copyscape, you'll get 100% unique content each and every time. If you don't have Copyscape
Premium, you can go ahead and Google a phrase from the output. You'll see - NO results returned.
You can choose to do it on all words, or only on stopwords.
Stopwords are simple words that we frequently use and have little to no meaning in our searches. Such
as "at, after, or" - while they do count towards the uniqueness of the article, they carry little to no SEO
value.

So what you get by using the "only on stopwords" option is a more-SEO optimized version than the one
you'd usually get with no boxes ticked. You can even edit the stopwords list, by adding/ removing
stopwords.
However, sometimes there are just not enough stopwords in an article to get you 100% unique text.
That's when the "ignored words" box comes in.

If an article fails to get you 100% when using "only on stopwords" you can have that box unticked and
write all of your keywords in the "ignored words" box, one word on each line. This way you can be sure
you get 100% unique articles, and that your keywords will remain unaltered.

8.2 What about "HTML encode"?

I put it there mainly for Squidoo, but there are other websites this option will be useful on. There are
some websites that just won't recognize the plain text format this tool outputs, so they'll need the HTML
version. Don't be afraid of the weird characters you get - just copy/paste the text as it is, and once you
publish it, you'll see the difference!

8.3 What to do with the spin option?

It will output different versions of the same article. So all versions will ultimately look the same to you
and me, but each will be unique in Google's eyes. This is great to use with other tools/services that
accept spyntax.

8.4 Copyscape option

Pretty straightforward and easy to use. You'll need a Copyscape Premium account to use this feature,
and you'll need to have enough credits to use it.
Add your credentials and enjoy!

8.5 I get weird "?"s when I try and post in

Wordpress
When I did the original testing, I found out that some Wordpress configurations would show the text as
a bunch of question marks. This is very, very rare (about 1 in 100 cases)

However, there is no reason to fear, as the fix is quick and easy to do:

1. Open up ‘wp-config.php’ from the root directory of your WordPress installation.

2. Add ‘//’ at the very beginning of these two lines:

8.6 How do you install the software?

You need to extract the zip to an empty folder on your desktop and run the app from there.

Make sure Java is installed!
