SYMPTOMS
Vaginal Dryness

Explanation: This symptom could be caused by low estrogen. It occurs during menopause. Estrogen tends to lubricate the mucus membranes. Because the adrenals act as the
backup glands to the ovaries, any adrenal weakness going on during menopause will not only result in vaginal dryness, but also in night sweats and hot flashes. Some of the
most popular remedies are black cohosh and wild yam. However, by bolstering the adrenals, we can get to the root cause.
Causes
●Low Estrogen

Low Tolerance to Stress

Explanation: This is adrenal fatigue. As you lose your adrenal function, the tolerance to stress becomes lower and lower until the very little things start to irritate you. The
adrenals are all about countering stress to help you survive. Anything that is anti-survival would be magnified; for example – people who are slow will irritate you, incompetent
people will get to you, and insanity, mistakes, and things that are illogical will all bug you more than usual. The possibly fastest remedy for this symptom is the Adrenal Cortisol
Relief. This can provide adrenal support for rejuvenation. If you want to really solve the deeper problem, the Adrenal Body Type Kit with the Massage Tool is required.

Explanation: Loss of vitality could be caused by lack of quality sleep. When you sleep well, your body gets recharged and you get that 'get up and go' energy. The other factor
is sugar and hidden sugars, which most people eat. These raise the sugar levels, causing fatigue as well as brain fog. You will never feel mentally vital with sugar in the diet. So
having a balanced diet and a good sleep is perfect for vitality. Wheat grass juice powder can also spike the nutrients in your body so if you are missing anything, you can get it
from this product. The Sleep Aid and the Massage Tool with Acupressure Technique can help you get better sleep and recharge.

Dizzy When Standing Up Too Fast

Explanation: The adrenal glands regulate your body when you change positions. They alter the inner pressure, based on body position. When the adrenals are weak, the
adaptation of the body to alter the blood flow to the head after getting up too quickly can be sluggish and delayed. This can cause dizziness.
Causes
●Low Cortisol

This symptom is related to:Low Cortisol

Out of Breath when Climbing Stairs

Explanation: If you have adrenal fatigue, any climbing you do on an incline can cause the body to run out of oxygen quickly. Your legs can also get fatigued fast. This includes
the use of stairmaster or when just climbing stairs. Another great test for adrenal strength is the ability to hold your breath for a period of time. The weaker the adrenal, the less
you can hold your breath. This is why climbing inclines adds more stress and why oxygen runs out fast. Some people with adrenal fatigue can’t last more than 15 seconds of
climbing stairs.
Causes
●Adrenal Fatigue

This symptom is related to:Adrenal Fatigue

Loose Skin (loss of collagen)

Explanation: There are several causes of loose skin or loss of collagen: 1. If your stomach is not acidic enough, you can develop a lack of digestion for proteins (collagen). This
is common and happens as we age or take antacids. 2. If your vitamin C status is low, collagen will not be formed and you can develop loose, flabby skin. This is not as common

as the first one, but can occur. 3. If your adrenals are overactive, high cortisol can destroy your body's protein collagen pool and turn protein into carbohydrates. An overactive
adrenal gland (high cortisol) is very common. 4. Insulin resistance due to diabetes. Insulin's function is to allow amino acids to enter the cells. When you have diabetes or insulin
resistance, insulin can no longer drive amino acids into the cell, which results to the deterioration of your body proteins – this is the most likely cause of flabby skin in women in
the ages of pre- and post-menopause. 5. The last cause could be a deficiency in trace minerals. Trace minerals are those minerals needed in small amounts and are required for
the formation of protein in the body.
Causes
●Low Stomach Acid

This symptom is related to:Low Stomach Acid

Hair Loss

Explanation: Hair is made of protein. There are several things that can cause hair loss. 1. The most common cause is a trace mineral deficiency. Trace minerals are minerals
needed in small amounts. Trace minerals allow protein to form properly in the body. For example, low selenium, iron, and zinc can cause hair loss. 2. When women have PCOS
(polycystic ovarian syndrome), insulin causes a higher level of androgens. In this case, fixing insulin resistance can lower the level of androgens and save your hair. 3. Biotin can
also be good for hair strength. A biotin deficiency causes hair loss. Biotin deficiency may occur from eating raw eggs. 4. Another cause of hair loss is having high levels of
androgens. This is the problem in the case of alopecia and male pattern baldness (loss of hair on the top of your head). This comes from higher levels of DHT, a powerful form of
testosterone. In the presence of too much 5-alpha reductase (conversion enzyme), testosterone can be converted to excess DHT. Stinging nettle root can lower this enzyme,
thereby reducing this conversion. Stinging nettle root is an 5-alpha reductase inhibitor.
Causes
●Trace Mineral Deficiency

This symptom is related to:Trace Mineral Deficiency

Not Satisfied After Meals

Explanation: This is a classic insulin problem (insulin resistance). This condition blocks the cell from insulin. Insulin is needed to absorb nutrients. This causes low cell nutrients
(creating hungry unsatisfied cells) and high insulin, which produces belly fat. The two nutrients that can lower insulin are potassium (wheat grass juice powder) and B-vitamin
(Adrenal Day Formula).

Poor Night Vision

Explanation: This could be caused by vitamin A deficiency. However, it could be a gallbladder problem where the absorption of vitamin A is being blocked. The gallbladder
releases bile to help dissolve fats and extract the vitamin A from the foods needed to make the eye work correctly. Vitamin A allows things seen at night to be magnified in the
eye and without it, light will not be reflected properly.
Causes
●Low Bile

This symptom is related to:Low Bile

Dry Eyes

Explanation: This could be caused by vitamin A deficiency; however, by adding bile salts, your body's absorption of vitamin A and other fat soluble vitamins will greatly
increase. People who get very little vitamin A from their diets usually have a gallbladder problem or do not have a gallbladder at all. If you are missing a gallbladder, you will be
deficient in bile. It is the fluid that helps in the absorption of vitamin A.
Causes
●Low Bile

This symptom is related to:Low Bile

Gallstones

Explanation: Gallstones are produced from cholesterol when there's a bile deficiency. Adding bile salts to the diet can dissolve stones. In other words, a congested gallbladder
or even a fatty liver lowers bile output, causing a sluggish gallbladder. Thus, stones show up. High stress can activate high cortisol, leading to gallstones, too. Higher amounts of
estrogen (from pregnancy or from taking estrogen) can also lead to the formation of gallstones. Another way of increasing the bile output is to add a stomach acidifier to the diet
(Apple Cider Vinegar Plus).
Causes
●Low Bile

This symptom is related to:Low Bile

Asthma

Explanation: Interesting observation: Kids with asthma who get lots of sunshine (vitamin D) seem to eliminate their asthmatic symptoms. Apparently, vitamin D is the key. The
medical treatment for asthma is steroid inhalers. These steroid inhalers trigger the production of an adrenal hormone called cortisol. Thus, asthma can be caused by an
underactive adrenal gland, and by one that is causing low levels of cortisol.

Salt Cravings

Explanation: When the adrenals are fatigued, the body loses salt. This is what causes salt cravings, especially at night when you want some chips. Some people crave sweets
right afterwards. Salt recharges the adrenals. Always consume sea salt. Sodium is a main electrolyte which works together with potassium. But then, you need 4x as much
potassium as sodium. But most people have the opposite ratio, which is 4x as much sodium as potassium. You should always consume salt whenever you crave it – but this is
not of the same case as with sugar. Salt is necessary to make hydrochloric acid in your stomach. Low salt can deplete your stomach acid over time.
Causes
●High Cortisol

This symptom is related to:High Cortisol

Painful Intercourse

Explanation: This symptom could be caused by having low estrogen. It can occur during or after menopause. In this case, the adrenals are failing to produce enough female
hormones (adrenal glands can make estrogen). If the adrenals are strong while being into menopause, a woman will have enough estrogen to prevent painful intercourse.
Causes
●Low Estrogen

This symptom is related to:Low Estrogen

Frequent Urination (women)

Explanation: Polyuria (excessive urination) could be due to a problem in regulating blood sugar (either insulin resistance or diabetes). It could also be because of high calcium
levels in the blood, or even because of having low levels of estrogen. An anatomical structure in the bladder called trigone (controller of urination in the bladder) may not get
enough estrogen so frequent urination occurs. This happens after menopause.

Osteoporosis or Osteopenia

Explanation: Osteoporosis is not merely because of calcium deficiency. It is a breakdown of the protein in the bone matrix. One of the reasons for this is the destructive effect
of the adrenal glands when the cortisol levels are high. High cortisol causes the body to go into what's called catabolism. This creates a breakdown of muscle and other proteins
in the body. High levels of cortisol destroy the bone. The bone is a combination of minerals and proteins. This is why it takes a good adrenal program to fix this within a good
amount of time. Some people think they can take a few minerals within two weeks to be cured. But then, it can take years, up to 6 years for some people, to have the bone back
to where it needs to be. Vitamin K2 can also be a key. This vitamin helps in making the bone strong. But then again, you need a combination of things, including the fat soluble
vitamins - K2 and D3.
Causes
●Low Vitamin K2

This symptom is related to:Low Vitamin K2

Sleep Apnea

Explanation: This condition is nearly always connected, if not caused, by higher insulin levels. However, insulin resistance is a pre-diabetes situation where there is high insulin
in some parts of the body and low insulin in other parts. Insulin resistance increases the susceptibility of viruses, especially rhinoviruses. This is the virus that creates sinus
congestion. This is also why eating sugar makes many people congested. You can’t kill a virus because it’s not alive in the first place. It’s a piece of genetic material wrapped in
a sac and then invades your cells when your resistance is low; insulin resistance creates lowered immunity. Thickened sinus cavities obstruct air pathways. There could also be
another cause, which is low cortisol, since cortisol is naturally an anti-inflammatory hormone. When cortisol becomes higher over time, the receptors for insulin can become
resistant. This is called cortisol resistance whereby lots of cortisol are being pumped out, without doing their job in the body. The other big cause of sleep apnea is adrenal
fatigue. Why? This is because the adrenals control the immune system and the sinuses are filled with lymphatic tissue (immune tissue). Another point is when the adrenals
pump out high cortisol. In this case, the nerve that goes to the sinuses (hypoglossal) can become atrophied (weakened), triggering the tissues in the back of your sinuses to be
enlarged. The same thing can happen with the heart - if there is atrophy of the heart, it will enlarge. Vitamin D3 and K2 are also beneficial for Sleep Apnea in addition to
supporting the adrenal glands. Large doses of vitamin C also helps in putting viruses back into remission. I would recommend taking calcium ascorbate (buffered C) with
bioflavonoids in quantities of 5 grams per day, spread out.

Need for Afternoon Nap

Explanation: This could be caused by insulin resistance. It’s a situation where insulin does not innervate the cells as well as they should, and because insulin resistance is
present, the sugar level in the blood stays high. Having high sugar level makes you tired, especially after a meal or even during midday. Wheat grass juice has several
properties that can aid insulin sensitivity. You can also experience sleepiness because of lack of sleep, whereby the adrenals are fatigued.

Acid Reflux (heartburn)

Explanation: This symptom affects the contents of the stomach. It causes acid to back up into the esophagus. Unless the stomach acid maintains a pH level between 1-3 (very
acidic), the valve called the esophageal sphincter, located at the top of the stomach, will not close properly. Food, enzymes, and acids can then regurgitate up into the
esophagus. Most treatments involve antacids, which worsen the problem. To digest protein and to absorb minerals, the stomach acids must be very strong. Another symptom of
acid reflux is having gas and indigestion. Without digesting protein because of insufficient acid, amino acids will fail to get absorbed. This leads to additional deficiencies. The
results can include loss of collagen, low levels of neurotransmitters, hair loss, nail problems, lack of muscle tone, and more. SPECIAL NOTE: If you take more acid and your
symptoms worsen, it could mean there's an ulcer OR an inflamed stomach. In this case, you will want to temporarily discontinue the additional acid and to add chlorophyll
(Wheat Grass Juice Powder is recommended). Then, after the ulcer or inflammation is healed, you can add acid.
Causes
●Low Stomach Acid

This symptom is related to:Low Stomach Acid

Low Libido (woman)

Explanation: There are multiple reasons for this symptom. Low libido can be because of high stress and adrenal fatigue (high cortisol). This results in having high cortisol and
in blockage of testosterone. Insulin problems can also shut off libido like a switch. In addition, insulin blocks testosterone. Lack of sleep can turn it on as well. Menopause will
create a strain on the adrenals because they now have to act as the backup organ to compensate for a loss of ovarian function. But this is really due to adrenal fatigue. Also,
high estrogen can block testosterone, so women with estrogen dominance have lowered libido. Isolate your problem and address the specific cause. If, after doing this, your
problem still persists, consider that there are certain remedies people take. Don’t laugh, some people use black mountain ants, silkworms or ginkgo biloba. But unless you focus
on the real cause, everything will become expensive.

Chocolate Cravings

Explanation: Chocolate cravings could be an adrenal fatigue problem. This is because the adrenals make the hormone serotonin which, with the lack of it, can cause the
cravings for chocolate. Another cause could be a magnesium deficiency. This doesn't mean that you always have a deficiency or your adrenals are always shot if you love
chocolate!

Allergies

Explanation: Allergies are the response of the immune system to a substance, food, or dust. They are mainly adrenal-related. If the adrenal hormones are altered, the pH level
will raise, causing alkalosis (excessively alkaline blood pH). By lowering and acidifying the pH, allergy symptoms can be diminished. By supporting the adrenals, a person can
lessen his allergy symptoms. Allergies are symptoms that are related to the immune system. The adrenal glands make hormones (especially cortisol) that controls white blood
cells. Allergies are related to low cortisol, not high cortisol. This is why doctors prescribe synthetic cortisol (Prednisone) for allergies, skin reactions, etc.
Causes
●Alkalosis

Heavy Menstrual Cycle

Explanation: When the ovaries are on overdrive, they create excess estrogen, thus causing heavy cycles. This is an estrogen dominance problem. Most likely, a person gets
exposed to environmental estrogen such as those from foods, etc. This interacts with the ovary, causing it to produce excess estrogen. You see this with younger girls going
through their first menstruation earlier and earlier, not to mention having larger breast size – this is all excess estrogen. GMO foods – like corn and soy are estrogenic; this is
probably why there is a rise in the number of breast cancer cases.

Sugar Cravings

Explanation: There are several reasons why you crave sugar: (1) your blood sugar level is off balance, making your insulin levels too high or usually too low (insulin
resistance). Extra insulin brings down the blood sugar into a lower range (called hypoglycemia). Your body will then look for sugar, and you will think about it more than usual
and even dream about it. (2) High cortisol from stress will cause your body to run on sugar. High cortisol will make you crave sugar even if you are having a good diet. High
cortisol levels result in the conversion of muscle protein into carbohydrates in the liver. This then spikes insulin. (3) Your liver is for some reason not storing sugar effectively
(Stored sugar is called glycogen.) because it is either fatty or damaged (cirrhosis). This would cause you to have high sugar levels in the morning upon waking up, and it could
cause you to wake up in the middle of the night due to sugar level fluctuations. It takes a lot of potassium to store sugar and without it, you will have lower levels of stored
sugar. The goal is to have a good sugar storage system so you can last longer between meals and not crave foods or be hungry. To do this, you need 4700mg of potassium
daily, which equals to 7-10 cups of vegetables per day.

High Blood Pressure

Explanation: There are several causes of high blood pressure: 1) One is the soft tissue calcium clogging up the arteries and making the arteries ridged, and thus, less elastic.
This condition requires vitamin K2 and vitamin D3. This is why a common drug, called a Calcium Channel Blocker, is used for high blood pressure. 2) High insulin levels can also
raise blood pressure. Pre-diabetes (insulin resistance) or actual diabetes could involve high insulin levels. (Use wheat grass juice powder for this.) 3) Another is an adrenal
problem which causes high cortisol levels. For this problem, use the massage tool to reduce body stress. 4) Low potassium. Potassium can actually make your arteries more
flexible. Potassium reduces sodium and in the case of high blood pressure, many people are taking thiazide, which is a diuretic. Well, the side effect is lowered potassium level,
the very thing you need to reduce blood pressure. Potassium is a physiological relaxer of the arteries.

Edema (fluid retention)

Explanation: This could be caused by dysfunctions in four different organ/glands: 1. Liver 2. Kidney 3. Heart 4. Adrenals A lack of potassium can also cause edema. We
normally need lots of potassium in our diet (4700 mg), which is equal to 7-10 cups of vegetables per day. In fact, we need 4x more potassium than sodium. Most diets reverse
that and take in four times as much sodium as potassium. This reversal would keep the blood pressure high. Potassium releases fluid from the body because it is a natural
diuretic. Your adrenals are the backup organ to your heart. When the heart is weak, the adrenals become involved in keeping the fluid out of the ankles. Usually, if the liver is
involved, the swelling will be in the right ankle and the heart would tend to produce fluid in the left ankle.

Hearing Loss

Explanation: There are several nutrient deficiencies that can cause hearing loss: Vitamin D deficiency, B12 deficiency, and iodine deficiency. The nerves in the inner ear need
and use iodine. If this trace element is deficient, it can cause a hearing impairment. Vitamin D deficiency can alter the inner ear via calcium deposits.
Causes
●Low Vitamin D

Rosacea (red cheeks)

Explanation: This symptom could be caused by an adrenal problem. But then, a deeper issue would be a vitamin C deficiency, causing a mild version of micro-hemorrhage
(tiny vascular bleeding) in the capillaries of the cheeks. The adrenals are the main gland that stores vitamin C and when it becomes depleted, vitamin C deficiencies occur,
causing red cheeks, loss of collagen, and fatigue. I use wheat grass juice powder to provide the complete vitamin C complex. Another cause can be from achlorhydria (low
stomach acids).

Trigger finger (Dupuytren's contracture)

Explanation: This condition involves a buildup of fibroblast cells on the tendons of the hand. This leads to fibrosis, a condition where the connective cells thicken. Trigger finger
is caused by cirrhosis (scar tissue) of the liver. The best thing to do is to support the liver. The number one cause of cirrhosis is insulin resistance, coming from all the fat being
dumped into the liver from excess insulin. The other cause could be alcohol.

Leaky Gut

Explanation: Normally, low stomach acids can prevent the full digestion of proteins and weaken the lining of the gut. To develop a strong intestinal tract, amino acids must be
available and stomach acids need to be correct (between 1 and 3 – very acidic). These normal acids are also supposed to kill any microbes that come through the stomach.
Undigested protein from food can then break through the intestine and mistakenly get tagged as a foreign body. Our immune system then develops antibodies against that
protein and presto… an allergy (peanuts, milk, soy, etc.) exists. A lack of good bacteria can also create damage to the intestinal walls. These microbes make acids that protect
us against foreign invaders. Once the wall of the intestine is damaged, inflammation can easily be triggered, creating a very sensitive digestive system.

High Pulse Rate

Explanation: Low potassium is the most common cause of a high pulse rate. You need between 7 and 10 cups of vegetables per day to get your required amount of potassium
each day. A normal pulse rate should be 72 and a lot lower if the person is athletic. However, you also need to rule out hyperthyroidism. Cruciferous vegetables deplete iodine
and would be a good thing to consume in this state. However, hyperthyroidism as an autoimmune state (Grave's disease) is usually triggered by a stress event. In this case,
supporting the adrenal would be the best option. Magnesium can also lower pulse rate. Having a pH level which is too acidic (acidosis) can also elevate the pulse rate.

Wakes Up Exhausted

Explanation: Difficulty getting out of bed in the morning could come from a poor quality of sleep, which is most commonly due to adrenal fatigue. If the adrenals are stressed,
stress hormones (cortisol) are elevated, which prevent deep rejuvenated sleep. Personally, I had this problem of never feeling rested for years. It would take me until late
morning to feel awake. However, now I can wake up at 5:30 am fully awake and ready to go. So it is possible to turn things around. Normally, you should wake up in the early
morning, go all day feeling bright and energetic, and then at night, turn off and go right ahead to sleep. But with adrenal fatigue, you never get into deep restful sleep and never
reach your peak during the day. So everything is backwards; you can’t sleep at night and can’t wake up during day – sucks!!! Many adrenal body types are night owls but this is
not normal. When you get your adrenals out of fight or flight, you will be able to drift off to sleep at 10-10:30 pm and sleep for 7-8 hours, and then wake up early in the morning.

Spurs (heel, joints, etc.)

Explanation: When the body develops excess soft tissue calcium (calcium deposits in the soft tissues), this is the time when spurs can grow in areas where there had been an
old injury. There are 2 things to do: 1. Take vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 to eliminate the excess calcium from places where it should not be. 2. Do acupressure to rid yourself of
the pain. Use the membership site to learn about this. The combination of D3 and K2 remove calcium from places where it should not be and put that calcium into the bones,
where it should be. Use the dosage of 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 to 100 mcg of vitamin K2 – and 4x the dosage. Insure you take all of these in the morning with your breakfast.
These would be absorbed with fats.

Ringing in the Ear (tinnitus)

Explanation: Ringing in the ears could be caused by an old infection or soft tissue calcium buildup in the inner ear. There is a good remedy you can get from the health food
store called: Lipoflavonoids, an extract from the vitamin C complex found in lemon peels. The supplement lowers histamines, which are involved in the inflammation inside the
ear. But you need high doses in some cases to see change. It is used to treat Meniere’s disease (a condition that affects hearing and dizziness). I would also add garlic and
oregano oil as supplements to speed up the process.

Arrhythmia, palpitations (irregular heartbeats)

Explanation: A heart arrhythmia is when the heart has an irregular beat or abnormal rhythm. Palpitations could be strong, with rapid beats of the heart, and often occur with
exertion, illness, or agitation. Electrolytes (magnesium, potassium, sodium, and calcium) in the correct balance can improve this condition. However, the most common
deficiency is low potassium and low magnesium, but mostly potassium deficiency. You need magnesium to make potassium work. There are several reasons why potassium may
be low: 1. Our bodies require 4,700 mg/day – which is equal to 7-10 cups of vegetables and people rarely consume this much. 2. Adrenal stress depletes potassium. 3. Diuretics
deplete potassium. 4. Drinking too much water depletes potassium. 5. Consumption of sugar and refined carbohydrates deplete potassium.

Bleeding gums

Explanation: Bleeding gums could be a sign of a vitamin C deficiency. Vitamin C supports the capillaries and collagen in the body. Without vitamin C, a condition called scurvy
can develop. This is where the tiny arteries called capillaries rupture and blood leaks, causing the tissue around the gums to become red and bleed easily (from brushing your
teeth or using dental floss). However, it's not just this tissue that is bleeding. The bleeding may also occur inside the body.

Sinus Congestion

Explanation: There are several things that can cause sinus congestion. If it’s seasonal, obviously, either you can avoid the allergy or focus on improving your adrenals. The
adrenal glands are the potential problem behind all allergies. This is why doctors give an epi-pen for several allergic reactions. The epi-pen is epinephrine (an adrenal
neurotransmitter). Doctors also give people corticosteroids for allergies, another adrenal hormone. However, if there is a grass allergy, we have found out that wheat grass juice
powder is VERY beneficial for environmental allergies. If you have sinus congestion, then your blood pH is too far to the alkaline side. Start drinking apple cider vinegar (1
tablespoon in water). Interestingly, an old injury to the nose can set the person up to get congestion in the sinuses. Many people have had an old trauma to the sinuses (being
punched, an object hitting the nose, sinus surgery, dental work close to the nose, etc.). If this is your condition, then acupressure is the technique that could get rid of it. Go to
the membership site for this one. You could also have a fungus growing in your nose. In this case, you will need to do a garlic rinse:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNM_NXwOkcQ Sinus congestion could be caused by biofilms (build up of microbes). Use a 1% Johnson’s baby shampoo solution, used in a
Netipot or a nasal irrigation. And yes, I did say baby shampoo (acts to strip down the mucus acting as a chemical surfactant (solvent). Of course, don’t mention my name after
doing this – kidding! If you are not willing to do that, you can use a xylitol nasal wash. The sinuses can also be heavily influenced by your liver and even by the gallbladder -
why? This is because the liver makes bile that absorbs vitamin A - the key nutrient to support sinuses. Vitamin A controls all the inner body surface skin. So cod liver oil is good
but use the extra virgin version. Vitamin C is also vital to the sinuses being opened; thus wheatgrass juice powder is recommended. For several people who find it almost
impossible to relieve their sinus congestion, high doses of calcium ascorbate (buffered vitamin C with lots of bioflavonoids) would decrease histamines. You may need 1 gram
every 2 hours to see relief. Another secret is using my acupressure tool at the second cervical area in your neck. This tends to open up the sinus within minutes.

Indigestion

Explanation: Lack of stomach acids causes food to be undigested. If this occurs, food tends to sit in the stomach too long and regurgitate. The stomach's pH level is normally
supposed to be between 1 and 3. This is extremely acidic. As the pH rises and the numbers rise past 3, food does not become digested and all sorts of symptoms such as
bloating, indigestion, and even heartburn occurs.
Causes
●Low Stomach Acid

Chronic Pain

Explanation: Chronic pain is pain that won't go away over time. When the adrenals become fatigued and are not releasing as much cortisol as they should, the anti-
inflammatory effect of these hormones (cortisol) is lost. This creates inflammation, which causes pain. If someone has arthritis, the pain (from the inflammation) is felt in the
joints. Another reason why people have chronic pain is because their old injuries never healed. Whenever there is incomplete healing, injuries won't heal totally and scar tissue
forms. This creates stiffness and arthritis.

Psoriasis (dry flaky skin patches)

Explanation: This condition could be caused by several sources but mostly originate from an intestinal imbalance of friendly and unfriendly microbes. Your microbes help make
B vitamins, and when deficient, can result in this condition. People who have psoriasis nearly always have a history of GI problems or lots of antibiotics. You need vitamin B2 and
B3 (nutritional yeast) but it may not be absorbed because of a lactic acid deficiency. Taking Kombucha tea and kefir would help. Pickle juice or sauerkraut would also be good.
Find a high quality probiotic as well. Vitamin D in high dosages has been known to improve this condition as well. This is why sun therapy works so well for psoriasis.

Explanation: Histamines are chemical substances created inside the body that cause itching. They are eliminated through the liver. Itching on the bottom of the feet could be
caused by gallbladder or liver congestion. The Gallbladder Formula would help. Histamines are involved in allergies. The allergies could be environmental, food allergies, or even
from poison ivy. The adrenals produce cortisol, which is involved in allergy reactions. This is a low cortisol situation. One good remedy for itching and inflammation could be
stinging nettle root. The most powerful anti-histamine is vitamin C. I normally do not recommend vitamin C because it’s synthetic; however, if combined with the other factors in
the vitamin C complex (bioflavonoids, rutin, etc.), it would help reduce intense itching. Here’s one I would recommend. Take 1 gram at a time throughout the day, up to 7 grams

Lipoma (fatty cyst on body)

Explanation: Fatty cysts seem to occur at the same time a person has a fatty liver or damaged liver. However, when any time cysts are involved, it's time to suspect too much
estrogen. The best remedy for this is getting more iodine into the body from sea kelp. Iodine converts the bad estrogen (estradiol) to the good estrogen (estriol). A lipoma could
be a symptom of iodine deficiency. Cruciferous vegetables also help lower the levels of bad estrogen in the body.

Gets Sick Easily

Explanation: People get sick viruses, bacteria, and other microbes overcome their immune system. One key part of the body that controls immunity is the adrenal glands.
They control the white blood cells (WBCs). WBCs are the police officers of the body. They attack foreign invaders and fight until death to do this. The single biggest damaging
thing to your adrenals is stress. Stress lessens the immune system reactions. Stress predisposes the body to infections and allows infection to set in. It also allows viruses to
come out of remission. This is why autoimmune conditions always kick in after stressful events – loss of a loved one, loss of a job, divorce, people stuck in a bad marriage, etc.

Wakes up in the Middle of the Night

Explanation: This problem lying behind this symptom is either an adrenal symptom or a problem with glycogen (stored sugar). With adrenal fatigue, the hormone cortisol
spikes in an opposite way. Normally in the body, hormones go through a circadian rhythm, with cortisol at the lowest point at 2:30am in the morning, and cortisol at its highest
at 8:00am. But during adrenal fatigue, you get a spike of cortisol at 2:30am, making you more awake in the middle of the night, even more than during the day. Then you're
completely exhausted in the early morning when you should be waking up when the alarm clock goes off. Have you ever woken up by your alarm clock and said, "If I could just
sleep now, I could probably sleep the best?" Then we know your hormones are “out of balance” in this manner of speaking. Normally, the liver should store sugar and release it
slowly through the night and if this doesn't happen, the sugar level can go up or down, bumping you out of the sleep. The name for this is insulin resistance (IR). IR will also force
you to urinate through the night and this is merely because your blood sugar levels are off.

Loss of Memory

Explanation: The most common cause of a loss of memory is having high insulin. This could be due to a pre-diabetic situation called Insulin Resistance. What happens is that
glucose can't enter the brain to the degree it should because there is resistance to insulin. Insulin also functions to provide nutrition to the cells, not just glucose but also amino
acids, minerals, and fatty acids. Basically, the brain cells are starved of nutrition when you have a problem with insulin, thus the memory loss occurs. The adrenal gland may
also have a connection to memory loss. High stress (high cortisol) can starve the brain of oxygen. There are 3 nutrients that act like insulin (reduce the need of insulin):
potassium, magnesium (in wheat grass juice powder), and vitamin B1 (in Adrenal Day Formula).

Infertility

Explanation: This condition can be related to ovarian failure, estrogen dominance, or estrogen deficiency. One deeper cause is due to environmental estrogen in our food

life. Chaste Tree herb (400 mg) and Royal Jelly help in aiding this condition. DHA also helps in boosting fertility.

Excessive Brain Chatter (at night)

Explanation: Excessive thinking is an adrenal symptom. The adrenals are a stress gland and while being stressed, a heightened awareness which involves solving problems
kicks in. It eventually worsens until your brain is stuck in "problem solving mode" 24/7. The interesting thing about the adrenal gland is only innervated by the sympathetic
nervous system “on” switch, NOT the parasympathetic nervous system, which is the “off” switch. This tends to keep the person in ON mode, which greatly prevents sleeping.

Sleeping Problem

Explanation: Most sleep problems are adrenal-related. So instead of treating sleep, we support the adrenal glands with Adrenal Night Formula, and this works a high
percentage of the time. The other thing we do for the adrenals, in conjunction with Adrenal Night Formula, is to use the Massage Tool, using an acupressure technique to release
body stress. It relaxes your neck and back, and puts you into a wonderful relaxed state. A Calcium Magnesium supplement also helps before bed. Occasionally, I will add more
potassium (Potassium Citrate (1000mg) per day. There are other things that keep people in this way, too: 1. Hot flashes - use Cortisol Support Formula. 2. Bladder - this is a high
insulin problem (The diet change MUST occur - great information on doing this in the membership site.) 3. It could be your sinuses that are creating obstructive airways - not
breathing will keep you from sleeping. See sleep apnea for this correction. 4. Pain can keep you up.(Membership site teaches you how to fix this). 5. Excessive thinking can
prevent you from sleeping. Use Adrenal Day Formula for this. 6. Digestive problems CAN also prevent a restful sleep – bloating irritated the entire body and causes a poor night

Small Pimples (not red) on Skin

Explanation: Small non-red pimples (called hyperkeratosis pillaris) could be caused by a vitamin A deficiency. If you are taking vitamin A from the diet in the form of cod liver
oil, butter, egg yolks, etc. and you still have this problem, either your liver or the gallbladder is involved. But many times it can come from a lack of bile which prevents the
absorption of vitamin A. In this case, Gallbladder Formula helps. Zinc and the B vitamins (from nutritional yeast) can also improve this.

Dry Scaly Skin

Explanation: Dry, scaly skin could be caused by a vitamin A deficiency. Vitamin A has the ability to go deep into the cells and actually affect the genes that control what skin
looks like and how it acts functionally. Vitamin A acts like a hormone and without this vitamin, skin can become dry, scaly, and rough. But then, for many people who do not
have enough bile from the gallbladder to absorb the vitamin A, they end up with dry, scaly skin. A congested gallbladder or a missing gallbladder can cause vitamin A
deficiencies.

Takes Too Long to Recover from Exercise

Explanation: Usually, the adrenals are fatigued when a person can’t recover. The part of the nervous system responsible for recovery is the parasympathetic (PS) system. The
PS nervous system gets shut down when the fight or flight system is in overdrive (stress mode). There is another condition called lactic acidosis, which can occur when someone
is experiencing poor recovery. When the body holds onto excess lactic acid, muscles get tired really quick. This is most likely caused by weak adrenals. Vitamin B1 (from Adrenal
Day Formula) and omega-3 fatty acids will help improve this condition. But then, the worse the adrenals are, the poorer the sleep, and the less the person can recover. You
should adjust your exercise intensity based on your recovery ability to avoid overtraining. Sleep is the most important activity in cases where there is poor recovery.

Explanation: Hot flashes and night sweats occur during menopause when the adrenal glands are forced to back up the ovaries. (The adrenals make the female hormones.) The
adrenals are the backup organs for ovaries during menopause. If the adrenal gland is weak when being into menopause, the inner part of the adrenal (called the adrenal
medulla) can cause a spike of the sympathetic nervous system to create a heat flash. When women take estrogen, they get relief from hot flashes, but there are many side
effects: cancer, stroke, gallbladder disease, etc. A better approach would be to support the adrenal glands.

Fatigue

Explanation: Fatigue can come from many things: 1) Lack of sleep 2) Blood sugar issues (from eating sugar) 3) Low vitamin C levels, as in scurvy 4) Poor immune system
(fighting an infection) 5) Adrenal fatigue The big key is not to take something to boost your energy but instead, find out what’s causing your energy levels to be so low. For
people who eat a healthy diet and get a good night of sleep, yet are still fatigued, I would look at the immune system. For example, if you had mono (caused by the
mononucleosis virus) in the past, chances are good that the virus could come out of remission and create fatigue. This is because you can’t kill viruses. They are not alive. They
will invade your cells, cause infection, then go dormant. Years later, they can come out of remission when you are older, stressed, or predisposed (low immunity). Mono usually
doesn’t give you a full-blown infection, but can give you a symptom of fatigue.

Explanation: Normal bowel movements should be after every meal, 1-3 times per day. Constipation has many causes. 1. Lack of bile (Bile acts as a lubricant.) 2. Antibiotics
(These are notorious for killing the good bacteria. If you take a probiotic with Acidophilus gasseri, you will have greater weight loss than if you use other strains. This microbe is
extremely effective to help you lose weight.) 3) Low Vitamin B1 (This vitamin is necessary for the movement of the food through the digestive tract - peristalsis.) 4) Lack of
stomach acid (If you can't digest food in the stomach, it will still be partially undigested when it gets to the colon. 5) Stress can shut down the colon via the fight or flight system
when you are in an "on the guard" mode or in conflict mode. This is when the nervous system shifts to being sympathetic nervous system dominant, and when bowel
movements are inhibited. 6) Potassium deficiency. Potassium helps smooth muscles relax. Many people do not get even a fraction of the amount of potassium in their diets. We
need 4700 mg each day (7-10 cups of vegetables or salad).

Bloating, belching or burping

Explanation: This symptom is usually a gallbladder problem due to low amounts of bile. Bile is the fluid that helps break down fats and may be thought of as a detergent that
helps dissolve the grease. Your gallbladder stores, concentrates, and releases bile. Bile is recycled in the body but many people lose bile if they have high stress levels or a fatty
liver. If the gallbladder is removed, there will certainly be a deficiency in bile. The other cause of this bloating, belching, or burping is a lack of stomach acid. It takes a strong
acid to trigger the release of bile. Stomach acid also helps break down food higher up in the digestive tract (in the stomach), and without acid, food can end up being undigested
(called indigestion). The addition of an acidifier plus a bile supplement is the best combination to reduce this symptom. As people age, their body may lose the ability to produce
stomach acid. High stress (shown with high cortisol levels), high estrogen, and high insulin levels can all reduce bile production.

Arthritis, bursitis, tendinitis and inflammation

Explanation: Any word with -itis at the end means there is an inflammation occurring in the body. The area of the body with the inflammation is found in the first part of the
word. An "-itis" occurs when the body is too alkaline. By acidifying the body through nutrition, probiotics (to increase lactic acid production), and supporting the adrenals, the
inflammation will decrease. Our Cortisol Support Formula product is the best remedy for chronic arthritis. The most common cause of an alkaline body is adrenal fatigue. Adrenal
fatigue causes alkalosis. The adrenal gland also makes cortisol, which is a hormone that stops inflammation. However, when the body runs out of cortisol, inflammation sets in. If
the chronic inflammation is from an old injury, scar tissue sets in and so does arthritis.

Fibromyalgia

Explanation: As the adrenals wear out and lose their ability to decrease inflammation, the inflammation actually can then spread through the body. Fibromyalgia is a systemic
(all over) loss of anti-inflammatory hormones, specifically cortisol. It results in having low cortisol levels. There is a possibility that adrenal fatigue can allow old viruses to come
out of remission and cause the aches and pains of fibromyalgia, too. There could also be a digestive component that is contributing to the fibromyalgia. It could be a loss of good
flora that causes this problem. From my experience, the MOST common cause of fibromyalgia stems from the gallbladder. Interesting! I know... this surprised me, too! This is

Muscle Cramps (esp. at night)

Explanation: There are several causes of muscle cramps. Take a look at this list, which ranks the causes from most common to least common: *Side effects from medication.
Steroids (for asthma), high blood pressure meds, diuretics, and cholesterol meds (statins) are the culprits. *Too little calcium. This includes having low stomach acid (which
prevents calcium absorption). It takes an acidic stomach to absorb minerals. The older you are, the less stomach acid you have. This includes people taking antacids, which
destroy the ability to absorb calcium. Someone taking calcium carbonate (rocks) without taking an acid at the same time can also cause too little calcium in the body. It includes
people taking calcium for bone loss (usually the wrong kind). *Vitamin D deficiency, which reduces the absorption of calcium. If someone is low in fats (omega-3, fish oils,
butter), he/she could also be low in Vitamin K2, which prevents calcium from going in the bone. This results in calcium getting stuck in the soft tissues. Essential fatty acids (from
cod liver oils), Vitamin D3, and vitamin K2 all transport calcium and without them, the person will have calcium deposited in the tissues, causing cramps, too. *Magnesium
deficiency. This magnifies the excess calcium problem. Magnesium causes relaxation of muscles. Leafy greens have lots of magnesium; dairy products have lots of calcium. But
if the digestive system is damaged, the ability to absorb minerals will be impaired. Remember that bile salts are also needed to absorb the fat-soluble vitamins that transport
calcium. *Potassium deficiency. This is usually because the person is not eating enough vegetables. We need 7-10 cups each day. Potassium controls both nerve and muscle
functions. Suspect a potassium deficiency if the person doesn’t eat veggies or if they are on diuretics, are taking diabetes meds or have high cortisol (or taking cortisol meds). In
rare cases, a potassium excess can cause cramps – in kidney disease (like in kidney dialysis). *Sodium may also be deficient. And this could cause cramping but it would be rare.
**One point on calf tenderness: This is a vitamin B1 deficiency, so you need to differentiate between a cramp and tenderness. Also a vitamin B1 deficiency can cause restless
legs. Lactic acid builds up in the legs IF there is low B1. Low B1 comes from stress and eating sugar and refined grains. Another interesting note is that if the adrenals are
stressed and the person climbs stairs, their legs will get heavy.

Excessive worrying and anxiety

Explanation: Excessive worrying and anxiety are often caused by an overactive adrenal gland. An overactive adrenal gland could cause high levels of cortisol. A body under a
lot of stress is depleted of three main nutrients: calcium, potassium, and vitamin B1. Since the adrenal gland is the stress gland and is supposed to counter stress but fails to do
this, the feelings of stress you have stick around for awhile. Over the years, I have observed that a person in adrenal fatigue tends to feel unstable, can't make decisions, and

Explanation: When the adrenal gland is overactive and in stress mode, there is heightened brain activity. A whole host of symptoms occur when the body is in stress mode,

heightened awareness of everything around you. However, if stress is sustained for long periods of time, then your focus, attention, and concentration ability will often become

Varicose Veins or Spider Veins

Explanation: Vitamin B2/B3 deficiencies or low level amounts of vitamin C can affect the collagen that surrounds the veins. You have to make sure your vitamin C has rutin
and bioflavonoids in it. You will not get any benefit from straight ascorbic acid, which most people mistakenly take for vitamin C. In the vitamin C complex that comes from
nature, we have many parts: the P-factor (bioflavonoids and rutin), vitamin K, which helps in clotting, copper in the form of an enzyme (tyrosinase), and the J-factor, which
interestingly increases oxygen throughout the body. The veins are the part of the circulatory system that return the blood back to the heart. They do not have the ability of the
heart to pump blood, but instead they require your muscles to do the work – this is mainly done by movement. So if you are sitting all day and not getting the motion that you
need, blood will pool in the veins more. Exercise is vital to this condition. High levels of estrogen can also cause varicose veins or spider veins. If this occurs, Cruciferous Food
will be the most beneficial.

Clogged or Calcified Arteries

Explanation: Clogged or calcified arteries are arteries that don't expand and contract as they should. They become stiff, and calcium builds up in them, contributing to this
stiffness. Arteries become clogged for several different reasons. Vitamin K2 is the most potent inhibitor of vascular calcification. It prevents aortic wall stiffness and allows more
elasticity in the artery walls. This means the arteries can now respond better to blood pressure changes. Stiff arteries are the ones that are found in people with high blood
pressure. Vitamin D3 in excess amounts, when taken alone, can cause calcified arteries. Yet the combination of D3 and K2 together works well to support healthy arteries. This
is why it's important to have both! Potassium also keeps arteries elastic. We need lots of potassium (4700 mg each day). It takes 7-10 cups of vegetables or salad each day to
fulfill our potassium requirement. That's a lot of chewing! Excessive amounts of calcium without vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 can worsen calcium deposits in soft tissues. But then,
you also need an understanding about what triggers a clog in the first place. Before cholesterol and calcium can come in and form a clog, there first needs to be a lesion
(damaged artery wall). This occurs due to a vitamin C deficiency. Vitamin C deficiencies cause microhemorrhage, which is a small bleeding of the artery. Another name for this is
capillary fragility. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2162050/pdf/brmedj04096-0033a.pdf http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0140673600564927

Cataracts

Explanation: Cataracts could be a symptom of low vitamin B1. Another cause would be a calcium buildup on the eyes from excess soft tissue calcium in the body. This is a
vitamin K2 deficiency. And another cause would be having high levels of blood sugar. The sugar has to be deposited somewhere in the body when it's high, and the eyes are one
of the places it goes to. This then forms a cataract.
Causes
●Low Vitamin K2

This symptom is related to:Low Vitamin K2

Headaches

Explanation: There are 5 causes of most headaches: 1) Gallbladder problems (low bile) 2) Sinus issues 3) Old head injuries 4) Neck dysfunction 5) High estrogen dominance (if
cyclic) Vitamin B2 can also help in aiding headaches. The gallbladder, when congested, can push on a nerve (phrenic nerve), which travels up into the right side of the neck, and
even up to the right side of the head. In Chinese acupuncture, there is what is called the gallbladder meridian, which travels around the head into the temples. So always check
the gallbladder whenever there are headaches.

Mid-back Pain or Tightness

Explanation: You would think that mid-back is simply some pain that came from an injury, but what if there was no injury? There can be two sources. First, the heart and the
other is digestion (stomach). A tired heart can be caused by adrenal fatigue. Check for potential heart problems. It could be a tired heart due to a lack of sleep. As the heart
works harder, it anchors to the breastbone and back causing tension in the mid-back or in the front chest area. If the person is a smoker and then abruptly stopped smoking,
many times, they end up with heart problems. The adrenals are so used to this drug nicotine and they become dependent on it. Stopping it then creates weakness. Nicotine
relaxes the coronary artery. If this is the case, they need to support the adrenals with Cortisol Support. But the heart problem can come from many other causes. If digestion is
involved, simply add more acid such as Apple Cider Vinegar Plus (three before meals) and the stomach can now digest foods and the pain will go away.

●Low Stomach Acid

Neck Pain

Explanation: Most neck pain is usually digestion-related unless there was an injury. Ninety percent of the vagus nerve (connects digestion with brain) travels from the
digestive system up to the neck. When the gallbladder gets congested, it can trap the phrenic nerve. The compressed phrenic nerve can refer sensations to the neck, and one of
them causes tightness in the neck. The phrenic nerve goes from the diaphragm to the neck, and the gallbladder is right under the diaphragm. The neck can also be tight and
painful due to an old injury - use the massage tool to help reduce neck pain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-YaMWsGHWI

Right Shoulder Pain

Explanation: Right shoulder pain is almost always referred to the gallbladder. When pain is referred, it means that the pain may be because of a certain organ, but another
part of the body receives the pain. This makes it confusing to doctors who don't understand pain referral patterns. A nerve called the phrenic nerve travels from the diaphragm
to the top of the gallbladder area. When the gallbladder becomes congested, it can irritate the nerve at the area of the upper right side of your body (shoulder and neck and
upper right trap muscle). Eating nuts or fatty food can aggravate the gallbladder and put pressure on the nerve that causes the shoulder pain. The pain could radiate into the
right scapula, upper right trap, or down the right arm. It can cause headaches too. If the gallbladder is involved, there is almost always a deficiency in bile. This is especially true
if the gallbladder was removed. There could be an injury that is causing the pain; however, if there is any gallbladder involvement, the right shoulder pain will not heal.

Sensation of Sand or Irritation in Eyes

Explanation: Vitamin B2/B3 deficiencies can be the deeper cause of a drop in blood sugar levels and in having the feeling of sand in the eyes. But it is really the hypoglycemia
(low blood sugar levels) that causes this symptom. Whether a person has hypoglycemia or insulin resistance (pre-diabetes), failure to regulate sugar levels is responsible for
feeding the tiny capillaries in the eye and extremities (fingers and toes). Think about diabetics - where do they develop problems first? Vision goes bad; feet and hands develop
peripheral neuropathy (tingling and pain), and then kidneys, heart, and liver go bad. Adrenal Day Formula is the key nutrient that has the natural B vitamins among other things.
Wheat Grass Juice Powder is the other nutrient that provides factors to help support healthy blood sugars.

Tingling, Burning, or Numbness in Fingers or Toes

Explanation: The most likely cause of this condition is diabetes or very high blood sugar levels. Insulin dysfunction causes a severe vitamin B1/B12 deficiency. Insulin depletes
certain B vitamins responsible for supporting the insulation around nerves (myelin).
Causes
●Low Vitamin B12

This symptom is related to:Low Vitamin B12

High Cholesterol

Explanation: High cholesterol can come from an overactive adrenal gland causing high cortisol levels. But the most common cause of high cholesterol comes from the
consumption of refined carbohydrates or sugar. Sugar triggers insulin. Insulin then lowers sugar level in the blood. It lowers it by converting sugar into fat and cholesterol,
especially the bad cholesterol called LDL. Fixing high cholesterol level is the easiest thing to do. Simply reduce insulin and your cholesterol will come back into a normal range
within a month. To do this, you must reduce the intake of all sugars and hidden sugars like breads, pasta, cereal, and crackers, etc. The other thing that will increase insulin is
snacking. If you were to eat 2-3 meals per day, you could dramatically reduce insulin and thus cholesterol. Vitamin D3 replenishment can also reduce cholesterol. The
Gallbladder Formula contains purified bile salts, which can lower cholesterol. Bile, in general, keeps cholesterol in check.

PMS

Explanation: PMS is an ovary dysfunction and can severely affect moods, making a person feel different emotions: weepy, depressed, or irritable. This is a matter of producing
too much estrogen. Cruciferous vegetables reduce estrogen. Soy products increase estrogen. Consuming commercial foods and not organic ones can also increase estrogen due
to hormones in our food supply, as well as eating GMO foods. GMO means that the food has been modified to resist a herbicide. GMO food has residues of the herbicide called
glyphosate. This really blocks the receptors in the female reproductive glands as well as the prostate in men.

Cysts (fibrocystic breasts and ovarian cysts)

Explanation: This symptom could occur due to an iodine deficiency or an estrogen excess. The ovary and breast need iodine just as much as the thyroid needs it. Female
organs have many receptors for estrogen and estrogen makes things grow. The growth of the tissue could result in cysts, fibroids, endometriosis (extra tissue growth in the area
of the female reproductive tract), tumors, and even cancer. Iodine can regulate and clean out excess estrogen.

Brain Fog

Explanation: Brain fog is the feeling that your mind is in the midst of a fog or spider webs so it's difficult to think and make decisions. Brain fog stems from two things. 1.
Adrenal fatigue. Adrenal stress causes decreased oxygen to the brain, and then affects focus, concentration, and memory (all for the worse). Adrenal stress also keeps you from
sleeping, which affects brain clarity. 2. Abnormal blood sugar levels. High blood sugar levels can put a person into brain fog. Low blood sugar levels can also do this.

Cold Hands or Feet

Explanation: This may be a symptom of low thyroid since body temperature is controlled by the thyroid gland. However, it is rare to have a primary thyroid problem. This is
when the thyroid itself is diseased. Most of the time a thyroid issue is due to another problem, other than the thyroid. This is called a secondary problem. It’s secondary to either
a gallbladder problem (lack of bile) or high estrogen levels.

Male Pattern Baldness

Explanation: There is a type of testosterone called DHT, which is a very powerful type of testosterone. DHT can burn out the hair follicles. DHT is mostly made or converted
from estrogen through a certain enzyme called aromatase. Estrogen levels in the body have to increase before DHT levels get critical enough to create hair loss. Your body has a
mechanism which prevents excess estrogen to accumulate in the body by converting it to another hormone. In men, it is estrogen that causes muscle loss, fat gain, a swollen
prostate, and lack of mental drive. It’s not necessarily DHT that causes prostate problems because testosterone levels decline at midlife (around 50). But estrogen increases.
Estrogen is the hormone that swells the prostate and it’s the DHT that burns out the hair. In a female, estrogen gets converted to DHT and this is what burns out the hair
follicles. The best remedy to help counter this and block this from happening is to use Stinging Nettle Root.

Loss of Hair in Patches (alopecia)

Explanation: Alopecia, which is the loss of hair in patches, is an autoimmune condition caused by overactive adrenals. Another cause comes from DHT, a type of testosterone
produced in the body. When the powerful form of testosterone called DHT gets too high, it can burn out hair follicles. Stinging Nettle Root can block the receptors for DHT
without creating any side effects. It is one of the best remedies for alopecia. This herb also blocks the enzyme (5-alpha reductase), which causes hair loss.

Hair Thinning

Explanation: Most of the time, hair thinning is a trace mineral deficiency. However, it could also be a symptom of thyroid imbalance since hair is collagen and the thyroid can
affect collagen formation. It is rare to have a primary thyroid issue. Most of the time thyroid dysfunctions are secondary to either a gallbladder problem (lack of bile) or high
estrogen levels. Determining which one it is and then treating accordingly is the way to stop the frustrating hair loss. Taking in trace minerals are a great remedy to strengthen
proteins and make hair thicker. Biotin is a B vitamin that helps hair get stronger.

Brittle Nails or Ridged Nails

Explanation: This symptom could be related to a thyroid imbalance, since nails are made from collagen. Thyroid issues may occur from either a gallbladder problem (lack of
bile) or high estrogen levels. The liver/gallbladder helps convert T4 to T3 (the active form of thyroid hormone). High estrogen also inhibits thyroid function. Trace minerals can
also be deficient in the diet and contribute to brittle nails or ridged nails. Trace minerals help protein (collagen) form in the body. This can also affect the hair and skin.

Loss of Outer Eyebrows

Explanation: This is a thyroid symptom because eyebrows are made from protein, and protein is controlled by the thyroid gland. Yet it is rare to have a primary thyroid issue.
Most of the time, the cause is secondary to either a gallbladder problem (lack of bile) or having high estrogen levels. However, if you’re deficient in iodine, you could develop a
hypothyroid condition. Selenium is another mineral that allows the thyroid hormones to be created. This is another trace mineral. These are difficult to get due to poor farming
methods in the US.

Cracks in Corners of the Mouth (cheilosis)

Explanation: Cracks in the corners of the mouth may show up for apparently no reason at all. This is a vitamin B2 deficiency sign. This deficiency affects the skin and can
cause cracking in the outer corners of the mouth and lips, and even on the heels. Vitamin B2 deficiency also prevents iron from being absorbed. This is why people with a
vitamin B2 deficiency often have anemia. Consuming refined grain products in the form of bread, pasta, cereal, and crackers may create B vitamin deficiencies. Alcohol can also
deplete B2.
Causes
●Low Vitamin B2

This symptom is related to:Low Vitamin B2

Calf Tenderness

Explanation: Calf tenderness is one of the symptoms of a vitamin B1 deficiency. When there's not enough vitamin B1 (thiamine) in your body, irritability of the nerves can
occur. This usually starts in the lower part of your body. Calf tenderness is different than calf cramps. Calf tenderness means the muscle is tender to the touch. Calf cramps are
when the calf muscle seizes up, and it's difficult to release it.
