What do you think were the strengths of this activity/program?

As we summarized the answers of the students in the survey, most student

think that the strength of the activity/program is the unity of the officers,
moderators, coordinators, volunteers and especially the participating students.
Since the officers did their assigned job well and cooperated with each other, the
activity/program became successful, it says in the survey that it highlighted the
knowledge and fun we get during the Scientist-kalook-alike, and many other
activities. Furthermore, students also stated that the strength of the program is
that it is well-prepared, well-organized, entertaining, very informative, having fun
activities, it motivates to learn more in Science, it promotes excellence, creativity
and sportsmanship, the activity showcases the talents of the students and the
presence of the event facilitators are very transparent. Thus, the competitions
that is being held has strong relevance to the theme, to the activity and program
itself.

How would you suggest this activity/program be improved?

The program was said to be very systematic but in some point, the
comments that is gathered in the survey says that, some students during the
culminating event does not show proper decorum. It says that students did not
show proper behaviour, that is why they suggest that students should be well-
disciplined whenever there is a program. Moreover, there are also things that
must be improve, it is the cleanliness and orderliness of the event place, the
seats, enough space for the program to accommodate the students well, and it
should be time-bounded. Furthermore, some students also suggested that the
program should be whole day and that there should be more contests and
activities for every student. Otherwise, students must interact with the facilitators
and focus on the event not on other things.

Other comments/suggestions:

Sci-Math Culmination was a successful event for this school year and it
received compliments such as it is very organized, entertaining, and
knowledgeable. It gained praises that Science Club is a good club to join with.
However, some improvements should be manifested especially for the following
year especially the addition of seats and microphones, improvements for the
sound system and proper ventilation, cleanliness, more fun and relevant activities
and most especially the behaviour of the students during the program. Hopefully
next year, there will be no more students who flock under the tree and do not
participate in the activity/program.
