“Du Vin Tomate”

INTRODUCTION:

Du Vin Tomate is generally made up of cherry tomato --an

excellent source of vitamins A and C, and a good source of vitamin K and

potassium. “Du Vin” came from the French word which means “wine” and

“Tomate” came from the Italian word which means “tomato”. We all know that

France and Italy are the top country that yield the best wine in the world for that

the name “wine tomato” was derive from those country. Sharing the first place

in world production, Italy and France pride themselves on their wines . .This
wine just not contain ethanol but also chemicals that might render beneficial

effects to our body. Du Vin Tomate is enrich with lemon and butterfly pea

which is a blue flower to add color and little bit of sweetness. To be different

from all other wine, this wine from main to sub ingredient is composed of

organic flower and fresh fruit. Based from the ingredients there are numerous

benefits that can be found from this wine ;namely, good for the heart, good for

the skin, good for the eyes, good for the hair, help prevent several types of

cancer, and help repair damage organs caused by smoking. Du Vin Tomate is

not just a usual wine filled with alcohol concentration but also it is a herbal

wine. Du Vin Tomate is well recommended to people for its organic and fresh

ingredients in spite of the rumors heard that some wines are a beverage that

might be the cause of malady. Du Vin Tomate is originated from the

Philippines even though its name was derived from French and Italian word.
HYPOTHESIS:

Based from the ingredients prepared the wine will probably have t

the taste of a combination of sweet and sour component. The aroma perhaps

will be a fruit-citrus scent. According to research in the presence of

fermentation process and aging of wine in a stainless steel the wine will have a

fresh-fruity aroma. The wine can have an astringent texture that is slightly

acidic. With the help of the sub ingredient which is butterfly pea, the wine will

will be in a blue or purple in color.

PROCEDURE:

Step 1: Prepare materials and ingredients to use.

The ingredients are:

*Tomatoes *Lemon *Sugar

*Butterfly pea *Water *Yeast.


The materials are :

*Knife *Bowl/Container *Mixer

*Steamer *Copper coil *Strainer

Step 2: After preparing all materials and ingredients, get at least 3 kilos of

cherry tomatoes and cut it into four pieces. Then squeeze the tomatoes into

the bowl.

Step 3: Add 96 oz. of water.

Step 4: Add 1.5 lbs. of sugar

Step 5: Add 1 tbsp. of yeast nutrients and yeast wine.

Step 6: Then mix the ingredients deftly.

Step 7: After mixing, store the mixed ingredients for about a week.

Step 8: After a week, transfer the stored mixed ingredients to a strainer and

then put it in a very low fire steamer. The mixture will sweat.

Step 9: Let the mixture go through a copper coil. Then the mixture will

evaporate through it.


Step 10: Cook the mixture. While cooking add squeeze lemon and butterfly

pea to complement the aroma and color.
