This document describes a thesis that examined the moral development of sophomore students in Naval Reserve Officers' Training Corps (NROTC) programs. The study aimed to assess whether the morality training provided through NROTC courses and activities significantly increased students' moral development. Students in NROTC, Air Force ROTC, and traditional programs completed the Defining Issues Test (DIT-2) at the beginning, middle, and end of an academic year. Results showed that NROTC students did not demonstrate statistically significant increases in moral development scores compared to themselves over time or compared to Air Force ROTC students.
