LICENSEE QUALIFICATIONS STANDARD:

1. Filipino citizen;
2. Must NOT be less than 25 years of age;
3. College graduate and /or commissioned officer in the inactive service or retired from the PNP or AFP;
4. Has completed her/his attendance in the Private Security Management Seminar conducted by SOSIA;
5. Have possess a valid Security Officer’s License; and
6. Good moral character

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

Who shall file: Licensee or any authorized representative of a company (sole proprietorship) / corporation who is part of the
management staff may submit an application for License to Operate (LTO).

When to file:Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except Holiday, application folder must be filed two (2) months before the
expiration of the LTO. Application which is filed after the expiration of LTO will incur administrative fine in the amount of one hundred
pesos (P100.00) per day.

Where to file: For NCR applicant, file your application folder to Agency Licensing Section (ALS), SOSIA in Camp Crame, Quezon
City. For applicants outside Metro Manila, file your application to Regional Civil Security Unit (RCSU) at the different Police Regional
Office (PRO).

How to file: Fill out this LTO application Form AL-01 and Go to the ALS, SOSIA in Camp Crame/RCSU in the different PRO for initial
briefing and assistance. Complete all the necessary documentary requirements as listed in the attached list of requirements; check its
validity and review whether these documents conform to the descriptions indicated therein, and submit it for evaluation. Only
application folder with COMPLETE, VALID and AUTHENTIC documents shall be accepted for processing. The applicant or its
representative will receive an acknowledgement receipt and claim stub indicating the date of release of the LTO.
