WEC Regional Energy Forum FOREN 2010

The Regional Energy Forum, organized under the auspices of the World Energy Council (WEC) every two
years, is recognized as being the most important multi-energetic event in Central and Eastern Europe.

The 10th Regional Energy Forum will take place in Neptun-Olimp, during 13th-17th June 2010.
All of the other NINE preceding FOREN editions organized beginning with the year 1992 have turned out
to be actual debate-forums for the most important problems in the energy field, enjoying real succes and
attracting hundreds of participants from our country and from abroad.
The last edition of the Regional Energy Forum - FOREN 2008 was attended by more than 1000 participants from
20 countries which took part in a lively exchange of knowledge, experience and opinions within: 5 scientific se-
ssions (there were presented 300 papers and posters), 2 Keynote Addresses, Ministerial Forum, 4 Round Tables
at Forum level, 3 meetings of international WEC Committees, 19 Corporate Round Tables, an international exhi-
bition with 70 booths and 45 exhibiting companies, producers of equipment and services for the energy field.
Addressing much broader fields compared to the previous editions and counting on attracting a significant
participation of energy specialists in the energy field in the region, the 10th edition of the Forum is expected to
attract more than 1000 participants. Therefore, the Organising Committee is pleased to extend to you a warm
invitation to participate in the most important event in the energy field in 2010 !
