En este evento se habló sobre los riesgos que existen en la minería, un

tema muy importante para nuestra formación pre profesional , a la vez el

ponente hablo sobre la normativa del DS-023 con la modificación del 024

que debe seguir cada trabajador en minería ya que la seguridad en minería

es lo primordial para evitar accidentes.

También se trató sobre identificación de peligros y la evaluación de riesgos

que se deben realizar antes de la ocurrencia de los accidentes en el lugar

de trabajo, para ello nos recomendó cada trabajador debe estar informado

sobre las fuentes de exposición y otros factores nocivos presentes en el

centro de trabajo, cuando las medidas preventivas se perciben que son

insuficientes para prevenir los accidentes.

Cada accidente ocurrido debe ser investigado inmediatamente y sus

resultados constituyen el sustento para tomar decisiones sobre las

acciones correctivas a emprender y quién debe responsabilizarse de las

mismas, para reducir los riesgos y evitar que vuelvan a ocurrir. La

exposición al peligro y su vinculación a una tecnología concreta puede

facilitar la determinación de las medidas de seguridad especiales

necesarias para controlar el riesgo.

Se refirió a la OHSAS 18001 que es es una norma reconocida a nivel

internacional y que se emplea para implementar Sistemas de Gestión de

Seguridad y Salud Laboral. En dicho documento normativo está

contemplada la necesidad por parte de los trabajadores de recibir una

formación apropiada a la labor que desempeñan, con la intención de

garantizar la protección de su integridad.

En concreto, la norma OHSAS18001 tiene una cláusula en la que se

desarrollan todos los aspectos a tener en cuenta en temas de formación

referente a la Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional.

También se refirió a la cláusula en cuestión “Competencia, formación y

toma de conciencia”, en la que se manifiesta que la empresa es

responsable de garantizar que todos los empleados que ejecuten

actividades relacionadas con la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo reciban

una formación mínima.

En función de los riesgos asociados a la actividad desempeñada, la

organización debe detectar las necesidades formativas de cada uno de los

trabajadores de la organización y si fuese necesario, adoptar las medidas

oportunas para solventar esta falta

Otro aspecto fundamental del cual nos hablo es los factores de trabajo,

que influyen en los accidentes ligado muy de cerca a los estándares

operativos con las cuales se desarrollan las actividades mineras, estos

factores están asociados a la cultura de la organización, es “ la forma como

se hacen las cosas”; la ausencia de un liderazgo efectivo a nivel de la línea

operativa, deficiencia en la comunicación efectiva y la débil interacción

supervisor-trabajador aumentan el panorama de una gestión deficiente en

seguridad, como consecuencia habrán lamentables pérdidas de vidas

humanas, familias desamparadas, contaminación del ambiente, conflictos

con las comunidades, imagen empresarial deteriorada, problemas

económicos ,financieros y multas legales.

Cada trabajador en minería debe conocer como base el DS-023 (normativa

minera que rige en el Perú) , si no conocemos a la perfeccion esta

normativa estamos propensos a tener incidentes o en el peor de los casos

accidentes mortales

En la presente ponencia se demostró esto mediante imágenes que

representaron accidentes mortales y de gravedad, tan solo por no cumplir

esta normativa

In this event we talked about the risks that exist in mining, a very important

issue for our pre-professional training, at the same time the speaker spoke

about the DS-023 regulations with the modification of the 024 that each

worker in mining should follow. that security in mining is paramount to avoid

accidents.

It also dealt with the identification of hazards and the evaluation of risks that

must be carried out before the occurrence of accidents in the workplace, for

which he recommended each worker should be informed about the sources

of exposure and other harmful factors present in the workplace, when

preventive measures are perceived to be insufficient to prevent accidents.

Each accident must be investigated immediately and its results are the basis

for making decisions about the corrective actions to be taken and who

should be responsible for them, to reduce the risks and prevent them from

happening again. Exposure to danger and its connection to a specific

technology can facilitate the determination of the special security measures

necessary to control the risk.

He referred to OHSAS 18001, which is an internationally recognized

standard that is used to implement Occupational Health and Safety

Management Systems. This normative document contemplates the need for

workers to receive appropriate training for the work they perform, with the

intention of guaranteeing the protection of their integrity.

In particular, the OHSAS18001 standard has a clause in which all the

aspects to be taken into account in training topics related to Occupational

Health and Safety are developed.

He also referred to the clause in question "Competence, training and

awareness", which states that the company is responsible for ensuring that

all employees who perform activities related to Health and Safety at Work

receive minimal training .

organization and, if necessary, adopt the appropriate measures to resolve

this lack

Another fundamental aspect of which we speak is the factors of work, which

influence accidents linked very closely to the operating standards with which

mining activities are developed, these factors are associated with the culture

of the organization, it is "the way how things are done "; the absence of

effective leadership at the operational line level, lack of effective

communication and weak supervisor-worker interaction increase the

outlook of poor security management, as a consequence there will be

unfortunate losses of human lives, helpless families, environmental

pollution , conflicts with communities, deteriorated business image,

economic and financial problems and legal fines.

Each worker in mining should know as a base the DS-023 (mining

regulations that govern in Peru), if we do not know perfectly this regulation

we are prone to have incidents or in the worst case fatal accidents

In this paper, this was demonstrated through images representing fatal and

serious accidents, just for not complying with this regulation.
