This third artifact is a Pecha Kucha Presentation on Deafness. This presentation was
created in the ESP600 class which was based on special education and how to effectively
integrate all students into our classrooms. This powerpoint presentation is full of information on
the different types of deafness, how that affects the students and what teachers can do to support
these students as well as other students in the classroom. This artifact was meaningful for me to
make as I have been teaching in many classrooms where students are deaf or hard of hearing. It
is important to offer all students in our classroom the best possible learning experiences.
