INTRODUCTION

This part discusses the overview of the business, background of the business,

type of business, and its products.

1.1 Background of the business

Aquabest Premium Pure Drinking Water is also known for its use of advanced

water treatment systems and of the exclusive technology called Grander Tech, which

works by resrtuction of water molecules into a cleaner water that ordinary filtration could

not achieve. This business was franchised by Engr. Kim Bacquero and Mrs. Rizza

Bacquero.

1.1.1 Financial:

Aquabest Premium Pure Drinking Water is a large business entity that

starts up with a cost of P100,000 franchise fee with a total investment cost of P500,000

and a monthly dues of P4,000 per month for advertising fee.

The water refilling station have a reliable and efficient water purification

system, which reported a minimal water waste, but able to remove all the possible

harmful elements in the water

1.1.3 Other:

Vending Machine is a coined-operated machine use for selling a

merchandise. In other hand, the use of vending machine has become practical

around the world. In some business companies in industrially progressive

countries like Japan, United States of America, coined-operated machine have

become great partners to their business operation. The machine also become

more advanced and efficient to meet the demand of their customers on products

they sell (Business Operation, 2013).

1.2 Rationale of the proposed system

On the fast expanding business in many cities nationwide is the water refilling

station. It’s mushrooming in every street corner, because a lot of people in urban and

rural areas prefer to get their drinking water from these water stations, its simply clean

and safe to drink. Over the years of demand for cleaner water becomes higher, the

price of household water purifiers and bottled water has become prohibitive. Water

refilling stations managed by private entrepreneurs offers cheaper and more convenient

solutions to the public’s drinking water needs than bottled water or the use of household

filters. The vicinity is surrounded by residential and commercial areas also it is facing

and near to the schools, the highschool and elementary school of Brgy. Silway-8.
