No-School and E-Learning Days in Semester 2, 2019

The school would like to remind parents of the dates in Semester 2, 2019 that pupils do not need to be in school.
These dates are reflected in the calendar on our school website.

During the E-Learning days, pupils will be given online assignments by subject teachers. The recommended duration
for each subject is about 1 hour per day. The table below shows the subjects assigned for each level:

The objectives of these E-learning days are to prepare our pupils for:
● online learning using various internet-based portals in the event of emergency school closure; and
● self-paced and collaborative learning using technology

We seek your cooperation to check your home computer against the Technical Specifications (Annex A) attached
to this letter. Having your computing device equipped with the recommended specifications will enable your child to
carry out her E-learning activities smoothly. As the internet traffic is expected to be high on these five days, we seek
your understanding and patience if you encounter difficulties in accessing the online lesson packages.

For technical assistance, please contact the respective vendor Helpdesk numbers (Annex A) or our school’s ICT
executive Mr Ahmad Farhan at 69338135. If you require further clarifications regarding our E-learning days, please
e-mail our HOD ICT, Mr Ahmad Ibrahim at ahmad_ibrahim_a@schools.gov.sg.
