My Dream India
Where the streams are blue
And the ship's crew sails
through.
Where the lush fields are green
And the fresh yields are clean.
Where the mountains are atop
And the fountains spread out.
Beautifying my homeland and
nullifying
The threats from the other
land.
That is my India,
That is my dream India.
5
Where people live in harmony
and enjoy every ceremony.
Where nothing is divided and
the masses are united.
Where there is brotherhood
and peace in the
neighbourhoods.
That is my India, That
is my dream India.

Where there is no fear of

terrorism
And no sheer threat of any ill
fascism.

6
Where standard of living is
high
And where clustered goodwills
lie.
Where science is a blessing
And technology is flourishing.
Where thinking is high
And attaining knowledge is the
ultimate goal.
That is my India,
That is my dream India.

7
Being Invisible
I wish I had a potion which
acted like a lotion.
That would turn me into a
creature
Which would burn with rich
features.
Certainly an invisible being ,
dauntingly an unruly king.

8
Roaming around without
being seen Honing my steps as
I mean.
Watching both good and bad
, mocking other's mood a
tad.
Entering theatres without any
ticket ,
Catering as a banker without
any wicket.

9
Helping myself tasting many
flavoured dishes ,
Enjoying myself feasting on
covered riches.

Playing cheeky tricks on people.

Laying creepy proofs of
paranormal.
From making people cry in fear
10
To tickling them in a burst of
cheer.
Having the freedom to rule the
world ever and after
To helping nations be clever
and most sought after.

From preventing the evil to

producing miracles
To creating a flow of joy &
happy cripples , helping the
world prosper with a wave
of witty ripples.

11
From unravelling the secrets of
our universe to travelling into
the uniqueness of our world
with a shrill and a curl.
I wish I’d a potion which
acted like a lotion.

Feel what it is to
be 'Invisible!!!'

12
Worldly life in a
day
Contrasting faces ,
distinct people having
separate workplaces with
succinct databases.
Everyone works but none is
irked
For to make a living toiling
day and night is fitting.

13
Life in a day is something
tough and different for
every soul humming down
on Earth is nothing
significant.

Societies round the world

have varieties
to be found in the population
swirl.
From the elite to the
burgherdoms
From the burghers to the
workers.
Everyone has distinct starts
and ends to life in a day
14
No one has a moment to
bear other's arts and trends
come what may.

The worker wakes at dawn

and works till dusk
Gives his whole day to his
work.
Lives in gay , whole day on
his way.
Never does he shirk his work
And has an attitude which is
never quirk.

15
The worker has only two
meals a day , goes to bed
with a contended head.
After having a pray , this is a
worker's life in a day.

The milkman wakes early ,

some thin some burly.
Collects , distributed milk all
round the neighborhood
belligerent in all likelihood.
Silently he goes about his
business , quietly but rightfully
cycles his way in all swiftness.
The postman has a similar
story , cycling his way to

16
inventory and then onto the
customer's territory.
Both of them are indeed
necessary , loath they are not to
being honest very very.

A teacher is a creature ,
studded with impeccable
features. Is a treasure
containing virtue which
children yearn to pursue.

She is a preacher of learning,a

person who keeps skills
churning.
Starting her day , seeing off the
busy way,onto school she goes.

17
Correcting students , correcting
answer sheets ,
affecting them , arranging seats.
Ending her day , awaiting her
beloved's way;
Describes a teacher's life in a
day.

Many other , who don't pother ,

Deserve a mention in this world
of terrible smother.
From the office goers , to the
school goers.
From the novice youngsters to
the pool of oldsters.
18
Life down on Earth , is tough
but has its precious worth.
Ethical , honest , truthful life in
a day is not easy in any way.

The poet beautifully

describes the different
types of people around in
the world , about the
tough competition in
every field today and the
importance of leading a
honest and truthful life.

19
Our mother
nature
Our mother nature who never
laid down any gesture ;
even when we exploited her to
the limits and
created a void in her for our
benefits.

20
We always lacked valuable
resources
But she tirelessly backed
mankind in their potential
courses.

Never shyed away from

supporting us
Never vied for any noting
return from us.
Mother nature we crave
to worship
you
We promise we'll protect and
be worthy for you.
You are as great as a mother ,

21
Who never asked for any gain
And was never able to see any
human suffer in pain.
It is our main aim that we strive
to achieve
And it is to make Earth a better
place for mankind ,
An aim we assure will never
wane.
We are grateful to you
forever, seek your blessings
Mother Nature for our
eventful future.

22
The Saint from
Sabarmati
The man who was glad to see
the nation alive.
Was happy to see the people
thrive.
He showed the nation its way ,
With a policy of tolerance and
stay.
And was always on his way

23
To see the nation in its swift
and gay.

Never bothered about himself

but always cared for the people.
Instead he was such a saint
who never asked for any gain.

Tried his best to free his

motherland
From the chains of slavery of
the other land.
Though he got a lot of pain But
at last succeeded in his aim.

24
Never feared of what lies ahead
of him
A Mahatma who never gave up
on his ambition.
Always ceded his life to God
And was a true saint.

A man of his own principles ,

and his name was Mohandas
Karamchand Gandhi , the man
who led them to Dandi.

25
Race along

Waking up at the break of

dawn
Having dreamt of my Percy all
the long.
Getting myself out of bed ,
I'll not let my mother wake I'd
said.
Tiptoed my way to the garage
After having a delectable bowl
full of potage.

26
Mounting my Percy , singing a
pop song,
I hope I'll race along.

Riding my Percy without any

mercy
Overtaking all other lorries ,
not having any worries.
Ignorant of all the breakers
Belligerent in my own way ,
racing away as I may.
Not someone who takes any
favours
Being my true self which I
savour.

27
Merrily I go on , I hope I'll
race
along.

Expecting my way to be all

rosy
Not suspecting that it won't
be that cozy.
Thinking away I will soon
have fiery wings
And beat my all foes and sins.
Then came screeching halt
Of which I wasn't aware at
all.

28
Realised that this right was
full of bouncers
Which demanded to be
played well.
My problems I didn't let
them swell.
Well well got myself on the
track , That'll tell yes you
played well.
Now not that I'll race along
but I've learnt to ride
smooth lifelong.

29
The poet relates a bicycle ride
to the lows and highs , the
lessons of life. The poet tells
us that life is all about moving
on no matter what kind of
adversities we may have to
face. We should always be
down to earth and take on the
challenges that come in our
life.

My dream walk in
an orchard
It was a bright day full of
birds singing in gay. The blue
skies and the horizon seemed
like a slew of dyes in an ocean.

The orchard that lay in front of

my window
Seemed to slay me with its
florid beauty indoor.
31
When I had seen the beautiful
flowers for the first time
Then that captivated my
lonely
mind.

Even in my dreams when I close

my eyes at night A beautifully
cerrassed picture of the
orchard

Dozed in my delighted mind.

Next day at dawn I decided to

have a visit to the place of my
dreams.
32
Stepping outside I creamed
my footsteps towards the
gateway
of my dreamed place which
had
mesmerized me.

As I approached the entrance

my nerves of excitement
withered away and every
obstacle in the path of me
visiting my beloved orchard
seemed to clear away.
As I entered the small valley of
nature's beauty it also
Made me realise are call of duty
To preserve the florid beauty.
33
The China rose is seemed to
give poses.
The hibiscus seemed to create
somewhat quality buzz.
While the sunflowers
encouraged cowards
The thorny bushes yelled 'Are
we hazards?'.
All the flowers were a testimony
Of the beauty of my dreamed
orchard.

As I walked past each and

every corner of the orchard

34
The scent of the flowers casted
captivating view of the beauty.
I wanted to stay admire it
forever but some Promises and
duties made my visitor short
stay.

Exiting the Orchard among the

humming of the honeybees
I collected this golden
memory as o n e which will
never cease.

35
The poem makes us realise the
true beauty of nature through
the medium of an orchard.. a
place that the traveller wished to
visit.. the poem has a feel of
nostalgia and has an anti
climatic end where we see that
some duties and promises bound
the traveller to not stay there for
long..the true essence of the
poem is there for the reader to
feel..

Neerja Bhanot
As gallant as a father
As brave as a mother
As valiant as a friend
Who died for her countrymen.
She gave her life
As a cost for those 360 lives.
As fear gave her courage
Her inner soul was encouraged.
37
She stood bravely and fought
firmly.
Never gave up on her
intentions and she stood as
she was to be.
Other people who were with
Neerja knew what they had to
be,
But they just didn't quite held
up and the difference was
that
Neerja knew her capability
and
fought with dignity.

38
She is truly an
inspiration for today
And much desired
aspiration for the
future tomorrow.

Mother Veronica
Veronica was her name
Sacrificed her luxuries not
aiming for any fame. Born as
Sophie Leeves in 1823
The one whom we've
admired since we were three.
Always devoted her time In
search of divine light.

lifetime , curbing her fine might.

Received in catholic Church

in
1850

fashions.

Miss Leeves was now Mary

Veronica
A great name who never
aspired for any fame.

Stepped for the first time on

Indian soil in 1863
Came as the superior of Saint
Joseph school
Arriving on Calicut's shores ,
one of India's jewel's.

42
Getting influenced by Father
M.Emphrem
To start an education
foundation considering her
inner call Of joining the
carmelite hall.
Reflecting on this for quite
some time
Accepted the offer Being in her
prime.

Living the sisters of Saint

Joseph joining it again in no
case.

In France she joined the

43
Carmel of Pau as a novice
And in the following years gave
everyone a big promise.

Sister Mary Veronica

officially founded The
Apostolic Carmel in 1868.

Along with a small group of

European mates continuing in
her divine faith , remembered
till this date.

She was as calm as water , as

pure as an angel
Spread her charm without any
falter ,
44
Never did allow her Lord's
plans to alter.

Even though she left this

materialistic world in 1906
Pure soul of hers will
remain holistic till eternity.

From being Sophie Leeves to

Sister Mary
The lady of our Mount
Carmel ,

45
The one who has
inspired us no end ,
Veronica was her name.

55
Our Teacher
Our lovely teacher is she
Always carrying out her duty.
Having a happy smile
contagious to all
With a heart of gold that never
falls.

From being a teacher to being

our friend
Our teacher has inspired us no
end.
54
Standing beside us through
thick and thin
Having a bond as if with the
kith and kin.

As a friend she's supported us

Ready to lend a helping hand to
us.

As a teacher she's motivated us

Guiding through the right gate
Making us believe we can write
our fate
To become the best as we wait.

Always putting herself second

55
And acting like our mother,
Always picking up us
Whenever we stutter.
The way she loved to help
others learn
Is something for which we will
always yearn.

We went through our studious

years to learn and grow
But what has stood out is the
love you have shown. Now
we declare a salute
And hope that we will play
success's flute.

56
THE
END!
Hope you enjoyed
reading the book and
cherished it!!!
