Products and services


I. The Éclisse’s Zucchero Vino seeks to bring pleasure to its consumer through its smell, sight
and taste and it also relieves stress and brings relaxation. In addition, drinking wine became a
social norm in certain circles and in most places and it is an important part of special occasions
(birthday parties, weddings, new year etc.). Moreover, here in Negros, festivals are very
common. With this, festivities and gatherings often require champagnes/ wines for a complete
joyous experience. Our product brings this satisfaction to every gatherings, festivals and special
occasions of our customers.

II. The Zucchero Vino (Sugarcane wine) is made of sugarcane with a taste of sourness and a sweet
aftertaste. Additionally, it doesn’t only bring a relieving feeling but also comes with health
benefits. As a natural remedy for a score of health problems, it contains anti-oxidants, iron,
magnesium, calcium and other electrolytes which is great for dehydration.

III. Raw materials will be provided by suppliers to be manufactured by the company. The production
process are as follows:
 Crush and press- sugarcane are pressed and crushed in a sugarcane crusher to extract the
juice.
 Fermentation- juice is boiled in vats. It is stored in a fermentation tank allowing it to ferment
for up to three months.
 Aging and Storage- wine is stored in oak barrels allowing it to age. Sugarcane wines are
aged for a year.
 Fining, filtering and bottling- fining and filtering are the process to finish and clear the wine
removing unwanted proteins and other micro particles. Bottling is the final step of the
production process.

IV. Éclisse winery will have suppliers from Victorias City, Negros Occidental to provide the raw
materials, especially the sugarcane which is the main ingredient, to manufacture the end
product.

V. The Éclisse winery plans to offer other wine flavors namely: strawberry, grapes, coconut and
rice wine. These additional flavors will be offered after having enough profit to serve as capital
for manufacturing new products. Estimated time will be three years after starting the business.

Flavors of Wine
 Strawberry

A strawberry wine is a sweet fermented beverage made out of strawberry


fruit. Strawberry is widely cultivated in the Philippines especially in
Baguio for its growth is prone to cold places. It is also deeply appreciated
because of its aromatic attribute, juicy texture and its peculiar sweetness.

This strawberry wine is one of the 5 delicacies that the Éclisse brand
generates. The brand's strawberry wine is sweet yet still has its bold taste.
Every wine resembles each of its company's founder. The founder which
inspired the wine is Estelle Rosareal for the founder appears to be bold
and tough which the wine really is yet could still taste the sweet flavor
hidden in the liquor which as well really represent Estelle.

 Coconut

A coconut wine is very popular in the Philippines. It is as well called as "tuba". Its
characteristic color is usually milky white but if fermented for such a long time the
color could turn into transparent. What makes the brand's coconut wine unique to
other wine is that the brand's wine leaves a sweet after-taste latterly savoring it.

This coconut wine represents the company's founder, Keah Chavez. For the wine is
well known for its sharp flavor but still leaves a pleasant taste after having it. This
resembles so much of its founder for it presents so much about her after tasting the
wine.

 Grapes

The grape wine of the Eklipse/Éclisse brand which is produced out of a very
specific variety of grapes called Muscat. Muscat grapes is reach in sugar making
the wine totally sweet in taste but having a bitter sense to the tongue latterly.
Sooner, the grapes will be pressed and ferment in a certain period of time making
the wine firm in its taste.

This grapes wine out of muscat was inspired by the Eklipse/Éclisse brands
founder, Jemima Zamora. This wine has the presence of a strong flavor of the fruit
making it sweet but mixed to bitter sense. This totally resembles the founder for it
presents the cruel reality of the world but still able to put sweetness into it.

 Rice Wine

Rice wine in the Philippines is bizarrely existing for it is generated traditionally in


the mountainous places of the country such as Cordillera region. It is also known
as "Tapuy" which could be distilled out of rice. However, the Eklipse/Éclisse
brand's rice wine tastes sweet but still has a persistent alcoholic flavor.

This rice wine resembles so much of the


Eklipse/Éclisse brand's founder, Dee Diamante. The wine is known for it pleasant
flavor but strong bitter taste. However, no matter how persistent the taste is, it only
present how traditional it is made and its history which inspires so much about the
founder.

Sugar Cane

Sugar cane wine is well known in the Philippines. It is also called "Basi". It is made by fermenting and
boiling freshly extracted sugar cane. The wine resembles its company's founder, Athena Ledesma for its
flavor of sweet and pleasant taste matched with it’s sourly savor. Also the wine has its bitter sense to
the tongue reflecting so much of the founder’s personality.
