Purpose of the study

The purpose of this study is to know the effects of slow internet connection that is provided by
the internet companies and possibly on how to alleviate it so that the people will be aware and be
prepared especially those who have slow internet connections such as the Philippines. The Philippines
may not be that big however it is most likely one of the less developed countries which makes the
internet connection slow in this country as for Suzanne Lai(2018) the most developed countries are the
ones who are most likely has a fast internet connection. If countries such as the Philippines has a slow
internet connection, they will most likely have a difficulty living in the present times which is dependent
on the internet and it will make the people less productive since they will be dealing with things such as
work with a slow internet connection. Jobs that uses the internet such as programming and online
selling relies on the internet and only with that said the speed of their internet connection will greatly
affect their jobs even though they are very skilled if they have slow internet connection then it may all
be a waste.

Knowing the effects may not solve the problem of having a slow internet connection it may at least give
a hint on how to lessen its effects. To know more about the effects of having a slow internet connection,
the researchers will ask or interview students, who belong to generation z that are known to be internet
dependent, that goes to a school that maximizes the use of technology such as the Malayan Colleges
Mindanao, to know how having a slow internet connection affects their daily life and their productivity
in school. Some teachers from the same school who maximize or use the internet in teaching or guiding
their students will also be asked or interviewed as to how slow internet connection affects their job as a
teacher of a technology and internet dependent school. All the interviewees will also be asked on how
they respond to those effects to possibly come up with a solution that may at least mitigate the effects
of having a slow internet connection and lastly they will be asked what might possibly be the effects if
they have a fast internet connection.

The goal of this research is to know the cause and effects of having a slow internet connection to those
who are internet dependent or those who uses the internet at least therefore it is expected to know
how important it is to have a fast internet connection to those people who are dependent to technology
that uses the internet. Another goal is to develop a way to mitigate the bad effects of having a slow
internet connection from the solution of the interviewees or on how they respond to those effects.
Layunin ng pag-aaral

Ang layunin ng pag-aaral na ito ay upang malaman ang mga epekto ng mabagal na internet connection na
ibinibigay ng mga kompanyang nagpapalaganap internet at kung paano ito mabawasan upang
makapagbigay impormasyon sa mga tao at maging handa lalo na sa may mabagal na internet connection
sa Pilipinas. Hindi man gaano kalaki ang Pilipinas, ito ay isa sa mga bansang di gaanong umuunlad kaya
naman mabagal ang internet connection sa bansang ito, ayon kay Lai(2018) ang mga maunlad na bansa ay
ang mga nakakaranas ng mabilis na internet connection. Ang mga bansang may mabagal na internet
connection ay ang mga bansang nakakaranas ng paghihirap ng pamumuhay sa kasalukuyang panahon
kung saan nakadepende sa connection at ito ang nakakapagpabagal sa mga trabaho ng tao kung saan
makararanas sila ng mga bagay na naapektohan ng mabagal na internet connection. Ang mga trabahong
programming at online selling ay umaasa sa internet at ang bilis ng internet connection ay nakakaapekto
sa kanilang trabaho kaya’t walang silbi ang kanilang mga kasanayan kung mabagal ang kanilang internet
connection.

Ang mga epekto ng mabagal na internet connection ay maaring hindi malulutas ngunit ito’y
makakapagbibigay ng pahiwatig kung paano mabawasan ang mga epekto nito. Upang malaman ang ibang
epekto ng mabagal na internet connection, ang mga mananaliksik ay magtatanong o makipanayam sa
mga estudyante na kabilang sa generation z na karamihan sa mga ito ang umaasa sa internet,na
pumapasok sa paaralan tulad ng Malayan Colleges Mindanao na labis na gumagamit ng teknolohiya,
upang malaman kung paano nakakaapekto ang mabagal na internet connection sa kanilang buhay at
pagiging produktibo sa paaralan. May mga guro na ginagamit talaga ang teknolohiya sa pagtuturo o sa
paggiya ng kanyang mga estudyante ay hihingian rin ng panayam kung paano nakakaapekto ang mabagal
na internet connecton sa kanilang trabaho. Lahat ng kinakapanayam ay tatanongin rin kung paano sila
reresponde sa mga epekto kung may makuhang solusyon na pagaanin ang mga epekto ng mabagala na
internet connection at tatanongin rin sila kung ano ang mga apekto kung mabilis ang kanilang internet
connection.

Ang layunin ng pagaaral na ito ay upang malaman ang sanhi at bunga ng may mabagal na internet
connection sa mga internet dependent na mga tao para malaman kung gaano kahalaga ang mabilis na
internet connection sa mga taong internet dependent. Ang isa pang layunin ay bumuo ng paraan pagaanin
ang masasamang epekto ng mabagal na internet connection
