Apple
Its an originated apple in Austra-
lia in 1868.By Maria Ann Smith.
To this day, there is an annual
Granny Smith Festival in East-
wood, New South. Wales, at the
end of October.
Maria Smith died in 1870.In the
1891 in Granny Smith’s seedling
took out the prize for cooking
apples. By 1892 many growers
were exhibiting 'Granny
Smiths.

as other varieties.
