Location: San Rafael National High School
Rationale:
Grade 7 and 8 students of San Rafael National High School are still adjusting and
learning in high school subjects most especially in the field of Mathematics. Mathematics
is considered to be the most difficult subject to study. Expecting that the said students
would have a hard time dealing and studying Mathematics, our organization, Alliance of
Chess and Math Enthusiasts would like to help them review, provide them practical tips,
guide and support in achieving a higher score in the quarterly examinations.
Scope
 This review will be on Mathematics subject only. It would also include some
practical tips about the things before and during the exam, and the things they
can do for an effective preparation.
 The review will be scheduled a week or two before a quarter exam. Since Grade
7 and 8 students have their classes in the morning from Monday to Saturday,
they can have time participating in the said review in the Saturday afternoon
which is convenient for them.
QUALITY *****
 The purpose of this project is to provide a free review to the Grade 7 and 8
students in Mathematics in an easy, understandable and exciting way.
 To provide them effective practical tips in preparing and studying effectively.
 To guide and support in achieving a higher score in the quarterly examinations.
BUDGET
 No budget is required.
TIME:
 Starting on the 1ST Quarter Exam of school year 2019 to 2020.
 First Quarterly Math Review: July 28, 2019 Sunday Morning
(Gr. 7= 7:00 – 9:30 a.m. & Gr. 8= 9:30 – 12:00p.m.)
RISK/CONSTRAINTS
 Willingness of students to participate in the Quarterly Mathematics review.
 Other equally important activities in school.
