D r. Nikolaos Laliotis completed his orthopaedic

general training in Athens. He specialized
in pediatric orthopaedics in Alder Hey children’s
hospital Liverpool in UK. He got the M.Ch.Orth
degree of Liverpool University in 1992. His thesis was
the gait analysis in children with Duchenne muscular
dystrophy. He returned in Thessaloniki, completed
his Ph.D thesis in the university of Thessaloniki, on
gait analysis in children with cerebral palsy, in 1996.
He was elected assistant Professor in Pediatric
Orthopaedics in the University of Thessaloniki, in
2006. He is working in Inter Balkan Medical Center,
Thessaloniki, Greece. He was elected president of the
Greek pediatric Association in 2005 and president of
the Orthopaedic Society of Macedonia and Trace in
2017. He has published several papers in pediatric
orthopedics.

Mehmet Emre Atabek, M.D.,Ph.D

Necmettin Erbakan University,

P rofessor Mehmet Emre Atabek has completed his

Ph.D. at the age of 37 years from Erciyes University
and postdoctoral studies from Selcuk University School
of Meram Medicine. He is the director of Pediatric
Endocrinology, a premier pediatric endocrinolgy and
diabetology service organization. He has published
more than 140 papers in reputed journals and has
been serving as an editorial board member of repute.
He has been interested in searching metabolic problems
of obese children in most of his articles. His articles
have been cited more than 1500 citations by another
article in Web of Science so far. He continues to work
as head of the Department of Pedaitric Endocrinolgy,
Necmettin Erbakan University.

I rena Bralić, M.D., Ph.D. Associate Professor of

Pediatrics is a head doctor (Primarius), a specialist
paediatrician, Associate Professor of Pediatrics,
and scientific associate at the Medical Faculty of
the University of Split, permanently employed in a
Specialized Paediatric Practice.
She is the author and editor of the university textbook
“Prevention of Diseases in Childhood”, the university
handbook “Vaccination and Vaccines”, and the
sold-out handbook for parents, “How to Grow Up
Healthy”. She has published in recent journals, and
she has been an invited speaker at many foreign and
national conferences. She is the head of the scientific
project of the Ministry of Science of the RC entitled;
“Secular changes in growth and the appearance of
obesity during puberty”. She is the head of category
1 courses in the life-long education of doctors, in the
series “New Challenges in the Prevention of Diseases
in Childhood”. Her narrow field of professional
and scientific interest are preventive programmes in
childhood and adolescence, vaccination, growth and
development, and obesity. She is a member of the
Management Board and Treasurer of the Croatian
Paediatrics Society.

D r Zhan he Wu (MD,PhD,FFScRCPA) has been

working in the current position in the field of
human genetic disease studies in the Sydney Genome
Diagnostics, Western Sydney Genetics Program,
The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, affiliated to
University of Sydney since 1996.
He has published more than 60 original articles and
5 chapters in books. In the last 10 years, he has been
working as the associate editor, editor-in-Chief and
chair of the rare disease column for several medical
Journals currently. Since early 2019 he is editing two
professional books in English invited an UK publisher,
one is Rare Disease and another one is Germ line
Mutations Associated Leukemia.
