MultiMedia
Tools
Importance
of
technology:
A
multimedia
authoring
tool
is
critical
to
the
project
because
they
normally
don’t
use
this
type
of
tool
for
other
projects.
Multimedia
authoring
tools
allows
students
to
edit,
organize,
and
create
the
project
in
a
unique
and
engaging
way.
In
order
to
complete
this
project
students,
need
a
multimedia
authoring
tool
or
the
results
would
not
be
the
same.
If
this
tool
was
not
used,
students
will
miss
out
on
the
opportunity
to
learn
to
create
simple
and
easy
ways
to
share
content
and
it
would
probably
take
them
longer
to
present
it
in
another
way.
In
this
learning
experience,
students
will
use
computers
in
the
class
and
ipads
to
complete
this
project.
Internet
Safety
and
Student
Privacy:
Some
internet
safety
and
student
privacy
that
could
arise
while
implementing
this
learning
experience
student’s
privacy
(full
names)
being
displayed
to
the
public,
misuse
of
copyright
music
and
images.
In
order
to
prevent
these
issues,
it
is
important
that
teachers
obtain
permission
from
parents
prior
to
allowing
them
to
work
on
this.
Once
I
have
permission
from
parents
that
their
child
may
work
on
this
project,
I
will
ask
my
students
to
use
a
pseudonym
to
protect
their
real
identities.
I
will
then
guide
my
students
to
safe
resources
they
can
use
on
their
projects,
as
well
as
encourage
them
to
ask
before
they
are
unsure
if
they
are
allowed
to
use
it
on
their
project.
Reflective
Practice:
The
activity
I
created
impacts
student
learning
in
a
way
that
other
forms
of
instruction
might
now.
Reading
about
an
influential
American
like
Martin
Luther
King
is
doesn’t
consist
of
a
high
level
thinking
skill.
Using
this
unique
technology
is
a
way
to
make
learning
about
this
unit
engaging
and
interesting,
because
students
are
going
to
want
to
participate
and
learn
how
to
use
the
technology.
To
further
extend
this
lesson,
if
it
was
an
introduction
activity
to
a
unit,
I
could
have
students
share
three
facts
they
learned
from
the
video
and
something
they
liked
when
creating
the
video,
then
share
it
with
the
class
in
a
whole
class
discussion.
