1 How to install vibrating motor ?

shale shaker vibrator

(1). Before installing vibrator, turn off and lock out/tag out all energy sources to mounting structure according to ANSI
standards。

(2). If using a cutting torch or welding, test atmosphere for gas level or dust content.
(3). Make sure mounting surface is strong and flat, 0.25 mm acros vibrator feet. (This will minimize internal stress to
vibrator casting when tightening mount bolts.

(4) Make sure mounting surface and vibrator are clean and free of debris, paint, and oxidation.

(5) Before installing vibrator onto mount, apply thread sealing compound to all bolts.

(6) After the vibrator has been operated for 10 to 20 minutes, check bolt torque. Tighten if necessary

2 How to maintain vibrating motor?

(1)Clean dust on shell regularly

(2)Before operating, must check the bolts to confirm whether there is loose or not. Otherwise, we must screw bolts
tight before running shaker

(3) Inspect the cable, whether there is wear, hold down, crushing, etc.

(4) the vibration motor should be under good lubrication during operation:

Motors before fixed on shaker, the bearing is filled with SKF specific lubricate grease, the temperature range is -40 ~
200℃

During running, every 2000 working hours user should makeup LGHP2 lubricate grease once. Every bearing can not
be filled over 25.8g.

To make sure bearing operated well, we must use LGHP2 grade high temperature lubrication grease. Before adding
new lubrication grease we should clean the input hole.

GN provide spare parts including vibrating motor for shale shaker, if you need any maintenance suggestion, pls
contact GN solids control.

Rotary Table

It is good practice to always have the rotary table approach the programmed position from the same
direction. Doing so eliminates all mechanically induced backlash error. It is recommended that you stay
within the suggested work radius for a given table size. In a tiltin application or in a situation where the
machining forces are outside the suggested work radius, it is important to overshoot the desired
position by 5 – 8 degrees and approach with the wormset in a preloaded state. Always keep the
backlash properly adjusted. This aids in increased wormset life and accuracy.

Note: Using the rotary table to machine repetitive parts at high duty cycles through a specific arc will
cause localized wear. To minimize localized wear it is very important to distribute usage over entire
gearset.

Axis move that would aid in more even wormset wear. Failer to do so will cause the table to draw high
current when rotating through the area of the wormset that is not evenly worn.
Repair Parts: All major repairs will be handled at our in-house repair facilities. Repair, minor service, and
preventative maintenance instructions can be found here.

Locate the manufactures tag on the side of the Rotary Table base. This tag provides the model number
and lot number. You must have this information prior to calling our service / parts department for repair
parts. Because of the wide range of products you may be required to attain an assembly print from the
factory to accurately locate the parts needed.

General: Because wormsets, ballscrews and other mechanical assemblies are designed to operate with a
minimal amount of mechanical play or backlash, machine tool builders offer some built in adjustments
to compensate for this in there machine controls. Refer to your machine control literature for backlash
compensation, pitch error compensation, grid shift offset parameters, and zero return instructions.
