Métodos de Integración
Método de Euler
El matemático suízo Leonard Euler, ideó unas sustituciones que permiten transformar estas integrales a
integrales de funciones racionales.
Primera sustitución del método de Euler
Consideramos que

ax2 + bx + c = 4a(ax2 + bx + c) = (4a2 x2 + 4axb + b2 − b2 + 4ac) = ((2ax + b)2 − (b2 − 4ac))

El término del parentesis es positivo por lo que el signo de ax2 + bx + c depende del signo de a.
Como se necesita a > 0 hacemos la siguiente sustitución:

Hay que considerar sólo un signo, cualquiera de los dos, ya que se obtiene el mismo resultado.
Vamos a usar álgebra de la igualdad para despejar x
