Pre-lesson
1.Hold up the flashcard of the cupboard and say What’s this ?It’s a cupboard .Ask
students to repeat after teacher . Repeat the procedure with the words cushion,
mat, slippers, dining room, garden, wall.

2. Direct students’ attention to Sue and Lucy and ask them to guess what they are
doing.
ACTIVITIES
3.Play the CD and have students chorally repeat the sentence . ( Track 76 )
4.Divide students into pairs and tell them to take turns to describe their living
rooms to their partner and draw .
5.When all students have drawn the rooms , have students present their partner’s
living rooms to the rest of the class .
