1993. Stephanie Sanders, who was Associate Director at the time, became Interim Director until 1995. The changes in
leadership may account for the possibility of no funding found in 1994.
15 Adams, supra note 1, at 23. The $289,717 is listed on NIH RePORTER in 1995 to Indiana University, Bloomington with the PI

listed is James Standford Skinner and no documentation linking him to Kinsey Institute. The project title: Heritage-Study, Genetics,
Exercise, and Risk Factors. There are no details on the study, but history shows this same project was funded by NHLBI from 1992 to
2003 through either Indiana University, Bloomington or Arizona State University-Tempe Campus depending on the year. If this
happens to have connection with Kinsey Institute, this project appears almost every year starting with 1992 to 2003, twice in
1995, no funding in 2000, and with amounts totaling $160,076 for years 2001-2003 only. No amounts are listed for years

34 This amount, $147,000 is listed in a Washington Times article describing the project as a 3 yr. funding that paid women up

to $75 to watch porn and have their sexual responses measured. Women were lesbian, bisexual, and heterosexuals being
monitored to their various sexual responses to lesbian, bisexual, and heterosexual behavior in explicit porn films. The irony, is
the same year NIH could not find funding a study of the relationship between children and regressive autism and the MMR

70 Wendelin (Ben) L. Sachtler is the President and CEO of Corpora Systems Inc., and has worked with Erick Janssen, Julia

Heiman, Wendy Kinsey Corning, on a project to develop a new instrument that can monitor several parameters in female
genitalia simultaneously. The new device facilitates clitoral and vaginal stimulation and measurements that are less intrusive
during more advanced stages of arousal. The project has already moved through Phase 1, which involved testing a fully
functioning prototype. Users likened fitting the vaginal probe to inserting a menstrual tampon, which suggests it will be easy
for subjects to use. In Phase 2, the system will be refined and tested more extensively, in a larger group of women. The result
would be an instrument that could be used in both basic and clinical research, with potential for direct application in clinical
practice as well. The study is funded through the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, NIDDK, a
division of NIH. See, http://www.kinseyinstitute.org/newsletter/sp2009/research.html (Last visited 7-18-12).
