May I request everyone to please stand
up and start our day with a prayer? (Students will recite the prayer)
Everybody, let’s recite our Amen
mathematical prayer.

Good Morning, Class! Good Morning, Mr. Bohol

Before you take your seats please pick

up the pieces of paper under your chairs
and arrange their chairs)
and arrange your chair as well.

You may now take your seat. (Student will take their seat)

Rosemarie, may I know who are absent

today?
Kindly give us your report. I’m glad to tell you nobody is absent today.

Thank you, Rosemarie.

B. Review/Drill
Last time, we discussed about the
fundamental operations of mathematics.
And we learned that, we have ___
(blank) operations.
Sir, I learned that we have four (4)
Correct!
Fundamental Operations in mathematics.
(the teacher will give Smiley Chips to
his/her students and it will serves as
their recitation for those who will get
the answer correctly)
And what are those operations? The fundamental operations in mathematics
Very Good! are addition, subtraction, multiplication and
(the teacher will give Smiley Chip) division.

Let’s see if you really understood the

lesson by recalling the corresponding
symbols and its meaning through
engaging activity. Yes Sir!

Let’s do the review on the form of

LEARNING IS FUN!

Repeat the Golden word: “LEARNING

LEARNING IS FUN!!!
IS FUN…”
LEARNING IS FUN!!!
Once again, “LEARNING IS FUN”

Okay, please count from 1 to 4. 1, 2, 3, 4…

Starting there. (counting)

Group 1 will stay here, Group 2 will

stay there, and Group 3 will stay behind

behind the Group 2 and Choose your
leader or representative.
Our first activity is entitled, “BOM”
B - basic,
Our topic is exciting Sir.
O - operations, in
M- Mathematics
All you need to do is, identify if it is
under Addition, Subtraction,
Multiplication or Division by putting
the words/symbols which represent
such operations.
The winner will gain smiley chips with
10 points in their recitation. The faster,
the winner. Very well said, Sir.

(Each group will be given pieces of

paper with words/symbols written on
them. They will be asked to arrange the
words/symbols in order to identify if it
is under Addition, Subtraction,
Multiplication or Division)
Ex. When we say, product? Sir, it is under Multiplication.
It is under? What? (All)
Correct!

Let’s begin… Were ready, Sir.

Activity 1: BOM

ADDITI SUBTRACTION MULTIPLICATION DIVISIO

- plus - subtrahend - “( )” - divisor

- add - minus - “*” - dividend
- sum - minuend - “•” - quotient
- addend - difference - “x” - (÷)
- (+) -(–) - multiplicand - (/)
(Blue) (Red) (Green) (Yellow)
(The winner of the first activity will gain smiley chips with 10 points in their recitation)

C. Motivation
Part 1: PictuART Game
Okay, very good class.
Thank you for the participation, and
please let us give a “Spartan Clap” to
“Clap, clap, clap”
the Group (winner). “Tramp, tramp, tramp”
“Ahoooh! Ahoooh!”
“Clap, clap, clap”
“Tramp, tramp, tramp” “Spartan Clap”
“Ahoooh! Ahoooh!”

“Spartan Clap”
Now, that you already know the four
fundamental operations of mathematics.
I think, you are ready to our next
activity.
Yes Sir!
But for now, let’s play a game. Our
game is entitled, “PictuART” games.

Are you familiar with 4 pics 1 word?

How to play the game?

I will read the instructions.

On this game, we only need one (1)

actor/actress.
In choosing actor/actress, let’s do it in
the form of music.
When the music starts, I will give the
ball in the class and it will be passed
around.
Pass the ball to your classmate next to
you.
Alright Sir.
When the music stops, the students with
the ball will be the actor/actress.

The chosen actor/actress will act the

word regarding with the pictures on the
slide presentation.

The whole class must guess the word

with the help of slide presentation and
their actor/actress.

Are my instructions clear, Class?

Then, let’s play the game!
Part 1: PictuART Game

(playing)
Alright! You got it all.
Now, let’s see what is the purpose of
this game and how is it related to our
main topic for today
So, we have the last activity for today.
In order for us to know the relevance of
this game to our main topic.

Are you ready to participate?

But before that, I want you to go back

to your group.
Same group, meaning we have four
groups right?

We have flash cards with me containing

letters with problem operations. Each
group has a task cards/concept notes

problems.
Each group must solve the problem on
the flash cards and arrange/form a word
from the lowest to highest number of
your answers within 10 minutes.

The first group that finished the activity

will shout a yell within their Group.

(After posting flash cards on the board,

the teacher will choose students in the
group to discuss/explain their activity
work provided with his/her guide
questions)

So, let’s do this!

D. Lesson Proper
Alright! You formed the 19 letters into a
word. Congratulations Group (1, 2, 3, (Students shouted because they won)
4) you are the winner at this time. You Yeheeey!
will get special price + smiley chips
which are equivalent to 10 pts.
Recitation. “Clap, clap, clap”
“Tramp, tramp, tramp”
Let’s give Spartan Clap to the Group “Ahoooh! Ahoooh!”

(Student will present their activity regarding
their activity work)
(Teacher Guide Questions) (Only the winner group will explain their
work by the guide-questions prepared by their
teacher)
1. What have you notice to your
activity? Our topic for today is all about Operations of
You’re right! Integer.
(the teacher will give smiley chip)

2. How you derive with your answer?

We follow the rules in solving problem
Very good! operations.
(the teacher will give smiley chip)

3. How will you define integer? Integer are positive and negative whole
number

Yes, you are correct. Thank you. Integers are the set of whole numbers and
(the teacher will give smiley chip) their opposites.
(The Teacher will post the four
Operations of Integer on the board)
