ijo & Blood samples were collected from I Rathi bulls aged between 4-5
;'d. years stationed at a Rathi bull farm, Urmul. Bikaner in heparinised capped
test tubes. Samples were centrifuged at 3000 rpm for 15 minutes,.and plasma
.IAL was separated and stored at- 2OoC till further assay. LH was estimated by
enzyme inmmunoassay using Quorum EIA LH kit (Quorum Diagnostics lnc.
Canada). The results were read on a Elisa reader (Multisc'an MS India) at
450 nm using Primary ElA. The inter and intra assay coeficient of variation
was 4.5 and 6.8% respectively. The estimated LH values in Rathi bulls (mlU/
ml) are tabulated. Two samples taken at an interval of one week showed that

the LH varied from 0.268 to 116.7 mlU/ml. Between the two samples the

variation was non-significant, however between the bulls the variation was
