We value of family, our friends, our freedom, peace, harmony, and nature. We aim to take care
of others, after all we are all human and in this together. We have seen what happens when the
world neglects humanity. We appreciate nature and we all work hard to preserve it. The island
operates as a team; however we value the voice of every individual. This is what we decided as a
community.

Life on the island is all about getting back to the basics of life. Because money is the root
of all evil, it makes people greedy, and is the cause of wars all over the world, the Island
chooses to forgo the usual monetary systems. Instead, people hunt and gather for
survival and trade supplies amongst each other. Everyone, men, women and children of
all ages, have assumed a valuable role on the Island. We believe in helping your
neighbor and treating each other the way you would want to be treated.!eople are free to
live as they please with whoever they want. Same sex relationships are accepted here and
marriages will be performed to all who dare to take the leap of faith.

A typical day on the island consists of eating fresh fruits and veggies, working, and enjoying each
others company. The jobs on the island are teaching, medical, care giver, hunter, seamstress, and
many others. We pride ourselves on creating a balance between work and play.

We invited many people to join us, but only 100 came. We have no contact with the
dangerous world we left behind because we have no cell phones, computers, or any
other communication devises. Some of the children are to young to understand why we came
here. So we created a
myth to comfort them
until they are ready for
the truth.

A peacful cove on !lacid Island

§
0t one time, every inch of the world was covered with people. There were
so many people, that it became hard to get where you were going.
Families would go days without seeing each other simply because of huge
crowds of pushing people everywhere. Children would cry themselves to
sleep at night, praying they would stumble upon their mommy soon.

Every night a little boy would pray for wide open spaces, and a place for
him and his family to live amongst each other and enjoy relaxing days
outside. He prayed his prayer every night as he curled up in a fettle
position, an attempt to make more space for the other people who lay
around him.

One day, to the little boy's surprise, he woke up in the morning and was
able to stretch out his arms and his legs without hitting anyone. He
opened his eyes and looked around at the beautiful green hills that ran
on for miles and at the pristine ocean and white sands upon his feet. His
family was at his side. " We will never be apart again," his mother
declared. The world exploded last night, revealing thousands of mini
worlds. This one is ours to enjoy."
