I would like to recommend Aditya Sharma for your MBA program. Aditya has
worked under me from 2012-2014 while I was working at BMC Software in
capacity of Head of India Remedy OnDemand team.

As Aditya's direct supervisor, I have seen him demonstrate strong critical

thinking skills and the leadership capabilities necessary for success in the
management field. In his role, where he was responsible for implementation
readiness and led the provisioning team, he has helped our company achieve
many goals through his valuable input and in a manner, that suggested a very
mature head on his shoulders; as well as showed him as someone who really
understood the business intricacies and organizational nuances. For example,
Aditya was instrumental in charting out a provisioning strategy that
significantly reduced our revenue recognition timelines and for an evolving
SaaS business like ours, that was extremely important.

Aditya worked as an individual contributor, but he exhibited great people

management skills in his role. His great mentoring and coaching skills get
manifested in the fact that often people from other groups in the company too
turned to Aditya for his thoughtful advice and guidance on various projects.
Aditya’s sincerity towards work and his keen-ness to ask the right questions
ensured that he almost always punched above his weight, regardless of
complexity of the assignment that I engaged him in.

I would also like to rate his work ethic, as one of the prime points in this
recommendation for this program. As we were building a team from grounds
up at BMC Software and the deadlines were strict, it inevitably led to cropping
up of a few operational challenges here and there. It was then when I got an
insight into the personal integrity of Aditya when during the appraisal for that
cycle; instead of alienating himself from the performances of his peers, he
accepted the challenge which came his team's way and left no stone unturned in
making sure that the team really steps up collectively and delivers together in
such a demanding work environment.

Over the period, I have always observed that Aditya has shown an extra zeal for
roles involving higher responsibilities and critical decision making. His clarity
of thoughts over time, especially during crisis situations, underline his strengths
in the same and are as compelling a reason, as any, for me to say that he will be
an asset to this program, given the demanding nature of the curriculum.

I truly believe that Aditya will be an asset to your program. Though, I have not
interacted with Aditya in an academic setting, but based on the qualities that I
saw in him while discharging our professional duties for BMC Software, leaves
me certain that those qualities will stand him in good stead during this
program.
