DUCC General and Executive Member Reception Program

Who Are We?

Dhaka University Career Club (DUCC) is a leading voluntary organization of University of Dhaka,
established in April 25, 2009, which is managed and run by the current students of University of
Dhaka. It was established to represent the students to the corporate and business arena to enrich
and broaden the experience of the student community both in and out of the classroom as well
as to enrich their career. In pursuit of these goals, this organization represents and acts on the
student views and concerns; promote, coordinate and operate student activities and enhance
channels of communication between the student, faculty, administration, alumni, University
community and employers.

Since its inception in 2009, DUCC is one of the most happening clubs of the University. It has been
functioning to make the student career oriented and trying to provide the students the
opportunity to learn the proper skills and attitude to work in corporate and administrative
environment.

Mission: The mission of DUCC is to make the students aware about career, and demonstrate
them a proper path to the career through accumulated career related activities. DUCC wishes to
provide our country with a pool of adept and expert human resource.

Vision: Dhaka University Career Club (DUCC) plans to develop the students as world standard as
an assisting organization of University of Dhaka. We believe we can make batter things, we can
bring batter days, we want to do something better than our generation has done before & we
want to contribute to our country effectively and sustainably.

Purpose of This Reception Program

We are going to arrange a reception program for both of our new general members and executive
members and the current general members. This program will act as the beginning of the journey
to career awareness and preparedness for the new general members. They will be provided with
the necessary information regarding DUCC and the essential information to start a proper
journey to make themselves skilled and effective for their cherished career.

Target Audience

 This program is mainly targeted for the general members and the executive members of
DUCC in session 2017-18. About 300+ new general members, and 100+ executive
members. Besides them DUCC’s existing 1200+ general members of DUCC will also be
invited in this program.
 Our secondary target audience will be more than 30,000 regular students of different
departments and faculty enrolled in undergraduate and post-graduate programs, more
than 1500 Faculty members, 1200 Executives and Officials of University of Dhaka and
DUCC’s previous general members and contact list.
 Also, DUCC have a 35,000+ active followers on facebook page and more than 46,000
members in the official facebook group. They will also be included as our target audience
and will get notifications regularly about this particular program and most of these
members are from University of Dhaka or related with this career aware community.

members in social media groups and a long list of contacts who are related to
career/University of Dhaka or DUCC.

and your brad logo will be displayed in the contents shared on social media by DUCC.
 Our team will send invitations emails to our faculty members of all the departments,
