Description about the Teaching Aids

I have designed Flipping picture cube, Animal Buddies powerpoint based game app and
memory cards to cater ADHD pupils. These 3 aids are inter-related where task cannot be done if
even one of the teaching aid is missing. So, we need 3 of it to test the ADHD pupil. I also choose
Year 1 ADHD pupils to teach animal sounds by using these teaching aids. I designed these aids
for ADHD to improve their memory retention skill (remembering skill) and to make them stay
focus. This is because ADHD pupils will try to disturb their peers and roam around the classroom
without pay attention to the teaching and learning process. So, due to lack of focus, they also
tend to forget what they have learnt. So, in order to overcome these problems, I designed these
teaching aids. I also designed memory cards in the form of concrete although there is Memory
Quiz in the “Animal Buddies” game which is almost the same. If the pupils get bored by the digital
version of the game, I would like to use these cards which are in the form of concrete to make
them stay focus and enjoy learning. I have also tested these teaching aids with the Year 1 ADHD
pupils in school and it was successful. So, the evidences in the form of pictures before and during
implementation of the project are attached. The videos are also included in the CD. The
effectiveness of this project can be seen through the pre-test and post-test results.
