Electrical works at Alpha Facilities

The rehabilitation of the existing facilities located at Alpha are the following:

1. Conference Office
2. Engineering and Administration Field Office
3. Construction Field Office
4. Contractor’s Field Office
5. Safety and Health Office
6. Comfort Rooms (2nits)

The Subic Enerzone utility will supply the power requirements of the Alpha facilities by extending their
13.8kV primary line from Pastolan village to Alpha transformer and metering station. From this 100 KVA,
single phase, 230V station, it will supply the different facilities at Alpha.

Each facility at Alpha will have its own service entrance supplying its individual panel board. Please see
electrical plan and layout ( Drawing Number PRJ-20MW-00-1 to 7) for further details.

Scope of Work: Electrical Installation for Alpha facilities

The work shall include but not necessarily limited to the following:

1. Check insulation integrity of all existing insulated conductors for lighting, C.O. and branch circuit
lines for air conditioning units. If testing of insulation failed, replacement will be done
accordingly. On the other hand, if insulation testing passed standard, existing wiring shall be
retained.
2. Install corresponding main panel board to each facility. Existing Individual air circuit breaker for
lighting and C.O. will be dismantled and removed for safe keeping and recording. Branch circuit
for lighting and C.O. will be redirected to the new main panel board. Existing circuit breaker for
air conditioning unit will stay as it is, but will have its own protection in the main panel board.
3. Install new service entrance for each facility according to approved electrical plan. Existing
service entrance shall be dismantled and removed properly for safe keeping and recording.
4. Check functionality of all existing switches, receptacles and lighting fixtures. Defective item shall
be replace accordingly.
5. The repair of worn out ceiling and flooring will require dismantling of existing wiring and
requires new wiring installation according to electrical plan.
6. Install lighting and C.O. outlets as shown in the drawing
7. Install yard and security lighting.
8. Provision for grounding of main panelboard connected to grounding rod.
9. Conduct megger test of wiring insulations as per government agency requirement.
10. Testing and commissioning.
