MESSAGE

Bugtongan Elementary School is the farthest school in the District of


Dueñas. This is the smallest among the complete elementary schools in the
district.
The Enhanced School Improvement Plan ( ESIP) of the School Planning
Team ( SPT). It will be a great help for the school. It serves as a guide. For
the greater development of the learners, the center in the school and the
school as a whole.
Through the school’s ESIP Planning team, the school will be able to
identify the problems and needs of the school for the benefit of the learners
for the next three years, SY 2019-2020, SY 2020- 2021, and SY 2021-2022.
Then finding the possible solutions to the problem stated.

A
The Bugtongan Elementary School members shared their vision for the next P
three years for the school. Each of them express his/her ideas for quality, the T
number of non- readers will be decrease from five ( 5) learners to zero ( 0) learner
for SY 2019-2020 to 2022. E
For non- numerates will decrease from twenty two (22) learners to two (2) R
learners. The learners will become computer literate. Then, for Access, enrollment
will increase from 81 learners to 90 learners or more. And for Governance, the
School will acquire more facilities such as library, laboratory, audiovisual classroom, 1
two- story classroom building, and well ventilated or air conditioned classroom. No
more multi- grade classes. Additional teacher or teachers item will be given to
Bugtongan Elementary School. Then, enclosure of the school campus, ample water
supply, cooperation of the parents will increase, and concreting of roads going to
school through the help of the LGU.
It focuses to the learners, as the center of education process. It will develop the
learners to become more literate and acquire quality education through competent
and dedicated teachers, administrator, cooperative parents, and community. Then, it
will help develop the learners to give importance about God, respect other people
and nature and to love his/ her own country.
These will be materialized through the full support and cooperation of the
stakeholders of Bugtongan Elementary School. The learners, teachers, parents,
alumni, LGU, and non- government organizations with their support financially and
morally, and through the guidance of Almighty God, all things are possible.

School’s Current Situation

Bugtongan Elementary School has an enrolment of 84 learners for A
SY2018-2019. It is decreasing based on the data for three consecutive years
from SY 2016-2017, 2017-2018 and 2018-2019.

There are multigrade classes in Grades I and II, III and IV. Some T
parents prefer to send their children at the neighboring school because
Bugtongan Elementary School have multi- grade classes and it is located far

from the main road. R
The barangay council of Bugtongan and the School Head did the
house to house campaign and conference to the concerned parents with
teachers of Bugtongan Elementary School to increase enrolment of the 2
school.
Handling the multi- grade classesin Grades I and II, III and IV will
affect the performance of the learners in different learning areas.
From 2015, the number of enrollees for both male and female
decreased by 0.94%.
There were nine wasted and one severely wasted pupils. Thanks to
the School Based Feeding Program ( SBFP) of the Deped.
The School needs book from the primary to intermediate grades.
There were shortage of books.
This year, the trainings attended by our teachers were 6 teachers for
INSET, 2 for K- 12, 1 for ICT 1 for GAD, and 5 for other seminars.
The biggest source of school funding comes from the MOOE. Other
sources are canteen fund, PTA fund, LGU, SGC and donations.
The School received congressional and division awards in journalism.
Bugtongan Elementary School has no drop outs for the last three
consecutive years.
The school has 100% successful promotion rate for SY 2018-2019.
For the Literacy Level in English during the Pre-Test, 10 pupils
belong to Independent, 21 pupils belong to Instructional, and 9 pupils
belong to Frustration. Then, during the Post Test , 8 pupils belong to
Independent, 10 Instructional and 8 Frustration, and for the Post Test, 41
pupils belong to Independent, 9 Instructional and 5 Frustration.
The school has 22 pupils belong to the non-- numerates.
The School- Based Management Assessment Level, SBM Level 1,
Developing. Child- Friendly School Survey Result, CFSS Points 32,
Outstanding.
Stakeholders have shown notable participation in the numerous
undertakings of the school. Co-curricular- 60%, Extra Curricular- 80%,
Meetings- 90%, Assemblies- 100%.
All levels have an ideal student- classroom ratio.This means that
classrooms are not overcrowded. But, the classrooms need major repair,
The ceilings were eaten by termites.
There are seven male/female toilets. There is one separated toilet for
Male and one for Female. The pupils maintain cleanliness level of the toilets.
There are currently enough seats for all pupils, but, some of these
seats are desks that need to be replaced into armchairs.
